The Magnus Archives (minor spoilers)
Has anyone heard about this podcast? It's about a British institute that investigates creepy and nightmarish happenings, like X-Files but much darker and often done from the perspective of Jonathan Sims, the head archivist.
The episodes all seem tied together by a group of Entities; each feeding from and creating fears, yet many episodes can be listened to as individual stories. But basically whether it is a creature that uses the skin of people like an anglerfish uses its bait , or something as surreal as eternal hellscapes (such as a garden where humans are twisted into tortured, unrecognisable plants which still feel), each episode has some tie to these Entities.
Dead By Daylight oddly could fit in as a hellscape - a mixture between The Hunt and The Web Entities (an eternal struggle to escape killers, who in turn have no choice but to keep killing). Just thought I'd share if people are looking for any horror podcasts.
