Game just uninstalled itself after restarting steam
is this a joke, or does the dev team trying to give some of us the hint they no longer want us to spend money? Really have no desire to reinstall this game if I can expect this kind of behavior

It's a Steam glitch. I've had that happen randomly before with other games (mostly games that update a lot like early access games). More than once too. Fixing it depends on ur situation. I once had to download some other software to manually free up the memory and had to reinstall the game.

The game knows better than you how to manage your harddisk space, you lowly inferior human.

if the game went in and on steam showed the "FIRST" run windows and set up, that is because of the hotfix that went in this past tuesday. if it uninstalled the game from steam but not from your computer this is an issue with steam as was mentioned earlier and you will need to contact steam if it will not reinstall again.
