Should Myers be able to stalk through walls?

In the mobile version of dbd, there is a bug that always Myers to stalk through walls and solid objects. In the PC and Console versions Myers isn't one of the typical killers regarded as strong. He's not right at the bottom but he's not up there. I personally think that the stalking through walls isn't too terrible to be honest. It definitely makes Myers much stronger but it doesn't make him strong to the point where he's unfair, at least in my opinion. I think that Myers could be buffed in this way but limiting the distance from which Myers can stalk. So he stalk from far away if a survivor is in sight but can stalk through walls if the survivor is within say 12 metres. This also makes the fragment and shard addons much stronger as it basically makes you able to see the aura of survivors within 12 metres while stalking. Another option would be making this ability an iridescent addon, replacing Judith's tombstone.

Thoughts?

It wouldn't be thematic, so right there explains why it's never going to happen (the Devs care a lot about staying on-theme), but also a big part of his counterplay is knowing how to run and not get stalked/making his stalk take as long as possible. Take that away and he becomes a lot less fun to go against and becomes one of the unfair killers.

Personally I'd rather see a buff to T1 and T3 that justifies stalking more/justifies not stalking at all.

Terrible idea for obvious balance reasons.

This doesn't fit the character imo nor does it seem balanced.

He already can with his two wallhacks addons. It’s balanced by losing his one shot, and is still stupid strong.

Uh, no? The Mirrors let him see Survivors auras by Stalking, but he can't drain Evil from them through walls. Evil drain is the feature being discussed here.

And, Scratched Mirror Myers is still average to below average even on maps he excels on, and is arguably the worst Killer + Addon combination in the game on maps he doesn't. Vanity Mirror Myers is even worse. Yes, the playstyles can catch Survivors off guard, but Scratched Mirror uses can be looped effectively forever and have no map pressure.

Anyway, with that said, even if Myers stalking through walls was balanced, it doesn't matter IMO, it'd be balancing him by removing counterplay. That just isn't a good idea.

If you are on hawkins he can stalk through the ceiling on the gen that spawn upstair. I'm pretty sure ghostface can too but if anything might be cause there lil slit for him to see you through.

Yeah sure. Repair a gen, don't see Myers, get the audible signal for Evil 2. Just keep repairing and suddenly he's Tier 3 with red hair. Fun for the whole family

Oh no that sounds...not so great, sorry!

Part of the counterplay is avoiding LOS after all, and if you take that away what is left then regarding interactive gameplay? Also, it would feel kinda out of place if he was stalking a wall basically to charge his power lol

Look up the definition of stalking. He stalks them through walls.

Evil drain through walls would be stupid.

And you are not supposed to be looping with scratched mirror, you do hit and run at corners and use one shot perks.

That said, silent bell wallhacks wraith is kind of better in every way these days.

"Lets take this killer, whose only counterplay is to hide behind walls and objects, and remove it."

I know Myers isn't one of the strongest killers in the game, but this isn't the way to buff him. Generally his power is pretty boring, stare until you get free instadowns. Imo Oni is just a better and more fun Myers.
