Weird matchmaking

Hi,

Anyone noticing weird matchmaking lately? By lately I mean from the weekend.

I know its been a problem for a while. But lately the matchmaking has been even worse than usual. I am rank 5, playing solo and I am constantly being paired with rank 5-15 survivors and exclusively rank1 sweaty killers.

Is there not any rank1 SWFs to be matched with these killers? Can I not get one chill game? Do I always have to be demolished by someone 100 times better than me?

    Is normal. Is it a little worse than usual? Not really.

    Probably a bit worse than usual because from what I can tell a lot of survivors quit the game, because survivor queues are now instant. So that means smaller survivor pool for matchmaking, weirder matchmaking results.

    Just a theory I'm talking out of my rear end here.

    Yeah in my killer matches I'm almost exclusively getting rank 8 to rank 18 survivors (as rank 2/3/4/5 interchangeably because I'm trying to learn more killers)

    I'm a new Killer and at Rank 16, I've been matched quite a bit with SWF groups where 3 are purple rank with maybe one yellow rank. I've only had DBD since beginning of January so I've been wondering if that was normal for the game. Some people have told me it might be about Killer availability. They said there are far less Killers than survivors, so sometimes there are weird match ups.

    Rank 5 with rank 1 is pretty common. There are survivors who have fallen victim to the de-pip and emblem bugs. Rank literally means nothing right now.
