On GP song review (while simultaneously referencing dbd)

This discussion is made for satirical purposes, don't take it too seriously please.

I will be doing a song review of On GP, a song by Death Grips that was released on their album The Powers That B in 2014. This is the first review I do, so don't murder me too much please, but I am open to any criticism.

Themes:

The song, in general, is about a person who tries to make a change in his life and in the world around him, just like how the observer is trying to find a way out of the entity's realm. The person doesn't understand how everything just functions when they do nothing, yet nothing changes when they do something. They feel like they are being watched constantly, and feels misunderstood and are sick and tired of everything, similar to most of the survivors lives and how they are consumed by the entity. There is a lot of themes to this song I would like to cover, but I highly recommend that you listen to it so you gather your own thoughts.

Lyrics:

As per usual, the lyrics are nihilistic and depressive, giving off that giving up feeling as I mentioned earlier, similar to the nurse reaching her breaking point. Some lyrics that stand out are, "its been a pleasure, Stefan," "I'd make that decision on GP", and, "but I can't say I wouldn't have my limits," then again, the song is a notable one amongst their other songs. These lyrics can't help think about the song that kate doesn't want to play when she's relieving her stress, and Jeff visiting his hometown, Ormond, when he learns his father died. (I'm doing my best to remember to put comparisions to dbd pls dont be too mean)

Bass, Beat, and Instruments used:

This song has a notable use of guitar, drums, and sound mixing, making it sound brutish like the spirit and the nurse, both who are strong killers. Even so, the excessive bass helps further develop the feeling of dilemma that the individual is experiencing, and the pretty much unnoticeable beat indicate that the person might not be in their right state of mind, such as the trapper when he starts to praise his father a lot.

Conclusion:

Bees : )

On a lil bit more serious note though, it is a really good song, and I highly recommend it. There is so much substance to the song that makes it a great listen. I hope you enjoyed my review, and delete the game map pls.
