new error??
so I have been wasting all my 4th year cakes, just got into dbd today and mid match the game says that I moved something in the game files? like what? I never changed the game files or anything, in fact I never changed perk icons for being scared of a ban.
but hey I deserved the ban for disconnecting because the error forced a quit on me.
for anyone going to play the game on steam today, verify files first before playing or you will also get punished for disconnecting.

Right click your game on steam and then go to properties, local files and then verify integrity of game files. If some files are missing then it will be automatically reacquired. Check it first.
Nvm you already did that. I always had to do this after every patch. I assumed it had something to do with my antivirus

Already did, I was banned longer than what I expected so I came to warn other steam players to verify first before starting to play.
