Nope not in the UK

fnaf chapter would be cool but i'm not gonna sit here and act like i would be happy to welcome that fandom into this game. bunch of annoying kids man.
7 -
Don't really care about local laws. You're still a child to me.
7 -
Eh true that, although can't be worse then Undertale ( no offense ).
1 -
Nope, they are following classic horror in the show. Watch the classic horror and you'll see.
1 -
Here to sneak in here to explain this
Horror isn't always scary, Silent Hill was designed to not be scary but disturbing and gruesome (Hence why Silent hill 1-3 are praised), hence why all the creatures of silent hill have an unsettling design to them (I.E the Lying Figures, Nurses, etc)
5 -
If it is a FNAF chapter, I hope they base it off the books and not the video games, as the books in my opinion are far darker and more sinister than the video games.
1 -
If DBD starts releasing lore books published by Scholastic and sells them at elementary school book fairs and they start selling memorabilia (toys, bedroom sets, etc) that's targeted at kids I will definitely say it's for kids. 😂
1 -
DBD is a horror game and people under the age of 15 play it, my 11 year old bro plays it, so all this ######### about FNAF being to childish etc is nonsense, DBD is rated 18 + yet people under the age of 15 play it, I've even seen people showing babies the game lol

Sorry to bump in but this case my point, you see horror is one of the most subjective type of genre, there are things that will and won't scare people. Like I find the animatronics of Fnaf unsettling because I have a phobia for objects that move on their own. SOmeone might not but I do. Someone might have Coulrophobia and thus hate Clowns.
1 -
The actual lore of FNAF is freaky and disturbing !
1 -
If they put any killer from FANAF in here, I WILL suicide on hook every match I go against it.
8 -
That is pretty convincing...
0 -
But so far the books seem to show it more then the actual games, no offense. I would be okay if they played around with the books and the games, as long as people like it and thinks its creepy, ( and that the killer is decent) then I'll be okay with it.
2 -
Ok, i dont like PH as a killer, i dont suicide on hook lame
5 -
Zesty, don't let people get to you with the kid thing. I get that you are old enough to drink in your country, but I'm over twice your age, and I don't think I'm the oldest one here. To a lot of us we think of back when we were 17-25 as when we were kids. It isn't personal. Let it roll of your back, and celebrate living in a country where you are able to drink a pint to celebrate joining the army or signing your first lease :)
7 -
Wait the drinking age in the Uk is 17, damn I'm living in the wrong country lol
3 -
This is correct and also its fine cause I bumped into that conversation myself
The type of horror games use is usually targeted towards a specific phobia, like the phobias you mentioned, however some horror games go out of their way to get as much phobias in one thing as possible, hence why Silent Hill and Outlast are two big horror games as they tend to crack down on as many phobias and gruesome things as possible (Silent Hill actually would have continued if Konami didn't cancel P.T) (Outlast is actually getting a multiplayer game here soon and god did that trailer get me), almost everything can be considered horror, FNAF is a horror game that is for sure I am not saying it isn't, however FNAF is outclassed alot with the amount of terror other horror games can cause
2 -
You can drink if with someone 18 or above if im correct ahha. You can only drink beer or wine if im correct, not a big drinker so dont know much ahha

Which I think is common, I think Scott is still trying to make a game that will scare people and came really close in Pizzaria simulator with the animatronic RNG. I think Bendy and the Ink machine is horror but isn't scary due common tropes, although I will credit it was Meatlys first ever game, so I won't hold it against him. Plus I love the art being hand drawn, it just shows the commitment the developers had for it. Outlast is definitely ranked up there as one of the scariest games, even rivaling SIlent hill.
0 -
I usually say that Outlast and Silent hill are like brothers in a way with how they work, while Silent Hill was usually mental horror (Messing with your mind kind of horror), Outlast 1 was physical horror (Gore, i.e like the scene where you get your fingers cut off) and Outlast 2 was both Physical and Mental
And Bendy and the Ink machine was pretty interesting though, but then again its an Indie game so it doesn't really have too much to work with, but I do give them props for that being Meatlys first ever game and still managing to do really well

Yes, kids do already play DBD. There are parents who let their kids under 10 play killer so they can easily drop rank for easy matches. With FNAF added those parents will now have a killer their kids will recognize and enjoy playing.
1 -
I haven't even seen an adult wear DBD merch that wasn't a Behavior employee or Fog Whisperer. 😂
5 -
Damn, you actually make me want to move to the UK lol
0 -
We already have jumpscares in the game. It's not like a fnaf killer would cause them to completely change everything
0 -
I mean I would like to see fnaf, purely because it WAS a big horror game when it first came out so I’d like Dbd to include the biggest trending jumps are game possibly ever made. I mean I hate that kids have ruined the later ones, but the first one was a big deal and it would be cool to see it.
4 -
tbf i was like 11, played fnaf 4 on my ipad, didnt have nightmares nor was i particularly afraid.
4 -
Exactly the First 4 games were awesome, then kids started making games that were really childish, and now all the haters see are those people, but that's just me?
1 -
I totally agree, I think the first Fnaf through 4 was a genuine horror game, it had some of the best use of sounds/audio loops, that were made to trick players, and mess with their heads, it did for me. It had some of the most in your face jumpscares of all time, it just saddens me that kids back in the day like myself even got a hand on this. Let alone see it. But I'm happy I did though or I wouldn't be into DBD
1 -
I tried playing the first one, and I just don't think they are for me. That being said, I can't think of any legitimate reason we can't have a killer from there anyway, with a new map and possibly Survivor. More content is more variety.

i honestly dont really want fnaf in dbd, because 1. it just dosent fit the style with dbd 2.it would be kinda weird of a chapter 3. a bunch of annoying fnaf 11 year olds coming to dbd (which accually might be good because I will destroy those nerds with my omega teabag ghostface )
10 -
Oh that's nice. How sweet of them, lettin you kids feel like adults.
10 -
I mean, let's not act like kids don't already play dbd. Two weeks ago I got a message from someone who's mom was forcing them to apologize for swearing in xbox messages after losing. more may come, but they will either adapt or quit. Temporary swell in the potato ranks, but it won't really effect the game as a whole.
As far as the style. Clown has a muppet suit, so does legion, it's a child killing sociopath in a suit, what doesn't fit?
1 -
The werewolf thing I totally buy, but the wendigo thing seemed to me more like people taking a guess based on something vague rather than following a likely red herring.
3 -
yeah ig your right. its just fnaf and dbd dont rly click for me idk why. they probably could make it work
3 -
Still think its gonna be a character linked to Doctors lore, makes alot more sense then Fnaf, Static, monitors, Feng min??? It screams doctor and would make more sense for this killer to be original vs license.
4 -
Opened Pandora's box, I see.
Mentioned FNaF then hit us with an UwU. God tier post.
In reality, I still heavily doubt it's licensed. I could be wrong, but lately, it's pretty damn obvious when it's a licensed chapter. I'm more thinking some tech-themed original killer.
7 -
I hope it is FNAF if only so that all the people just trashing on anyone for liking it or wanting it in the game throw a tantrum and say they are going to leave. I hope those people then do leave the game/community and never come back, good riddance.
That being said, I highly doubt it is fnaf tbh. I think it's probably just another in house creation of their own most likely.
Also, if you were only going by appearance of the logo there are a ton of things like that, I mean this is the logo for Soma for example:
2 -
If they focus on the scary aspect of the lore, then it might be a good chapter.
Edit: Nevermind.
0 -
Welp, I'm pretty sure all licensed ideas have been deconfirmed, for now.
0 -
It has to be fnaf?
I've been keeping up with the lore since the game first released, please explain how this relates to fnaf.
12 -
I'm glad we can finally shut down all the fnaf theories with this
13 -
at least until the next chapter...have to do the whole song and dance every chapter, it's exhausting...
6 -
Also, still no fnaf
7 -
Whats' this?
0 -
Not necessarily. Other Plausible guesses have been licenses of either The Ring or Poltergeist.

#화이팅 means “encouragement” basically from what I found

There's no way its a teaser

check the dbd twitter
3 -
dbd just posted this on their twitter.. their whole twitter has changed to maybe the new chapter is a hacker group?
