New Survivor Theory - K-POP IDOL
Hi guys! First post here after browsing for a long time without an account.
I have a theory on the new survivor! Given all that's been teased so far... I am pretty sure the new survivor will be an IDOL, as in they are (or were) apart of a K-Pop group.
I'm thinking this due to the # used by BHVR in their teaser, it means fighting in Korean and is typically used by KPop groups and their fanbase as a term of encouragement. The name "Mightee One Entertainment" is BHVR's version of typical K-Pop labels as well!

I wouldn't be surprised, it seems like pretty solid reasoning.
Then again, we won't know until the chapter (or teaser/full trailer) actually comes out.

Honestly seems like they're playing with fire with this concept but if they pull it off it could be proper fancy. Even I can't stop me from being excited about this, which is sad cause I know it probably won't be true. Could cause an explosive reaction though, like dynamite, and I'd feel forever young about the whole thing. Hopefully it comes with a side of ice cream.
Just a shame Rosè is Gone though. Must be hating the morning.

Imagine Rosé as a survivor! That would be pretty savage. I’d always let her survive in my lobbies so the other survivors would love to hate me. But I wouldn’t care. I’d just smack them on the hook and say HA, how you like that?

It just seems really out of place. DbD Twitter has never done this before and the fact that the color of the supposed chapter is bright and vibrant, which is odd compared to how other chapters where presented, tells me something is up.
Maybe their Twitter got hacked by someone.

Honestly after a few too many tbags you may begin to kill this love for her you've kindled, and start to kick it, which would be a shame. All Rosè mains would think they're so hot and yet when faced with a killer they don't know what to do- tragic!

It's definitely real, and it feels refreshing in terms of new content. Also, they did have bright and vibrant visuals for Oni / Yui trailer. I'd hate if they always followed the same way of revealing things.

Idk they probably noticed us speculating on the forums about the chapter and they wanted to play around. The official Twitter never did this kind of thing before a new chapter which is why I'm skeptical. I could be wrong though.

If their twitter was hacked they'd notify people on the forums, their private accounts would be talking about it, the discord would be in an uproar, etc.

Keep in mind, this year they've tried different things in terms of original killers. Blight was teased for ages before he came out. Just because this has never been done before doesn't mean anything.
If they wanted to advertise something else, they would likely use the BHVR twitter account. This is all just lining up too nicely to not be a chapter tease.

You do have a point. But I think its too early to say a whole chapter. I think its possible that it could be like ash and only have 1 survivor join the game.

I'm still gonna have to disagree. Ash was a paragraph, and he came in between chapters. They've only ever released one character as a full 'chapter' twice, and those were with killers. Ghostface and Leatherface. The Face boys.
They need a new killer to sell the game. The new killer is what always brings in the numbers. Not a survivor alone.
Killer's bring new gameplay, Survivor's do not. They only bring perks.

If this theory is correct, i can't wait to see if it's a male or female and if the body and face are going to be accurate to reality if the character is based on someone specific.
(Oddly enough, The Sims 4 is going to release korean content as well.)

Def this. + it's already around the time we were expecting to start seeing teasers for a new chapter. So it doesn't make sense why it wouldn't be a full chapter.
PTB is out next Tuesday, so we'll see the new killer by then!

Ghostie was a little weird. When he was introduced he was definitely called a chapter, but if we go by that, it's the chapter with the least amount of content in it.

Ok then but I have few more concern and it starts with the picture with the coffee on their Twitter. It seem the art is different from how dbd is presented isn't it? If it is related to dbd then what could it mean?
Also for every first teaser they always show something about the killer first and not the survivors but with Twitter it seems like they are showing the survivor. If we're going by your logic of killer bringing new gameplay then why show a survivor and not anything on the killer?

We don't know if that's the survivor. They could easily be the killer. I've heard ideas of them being the builder of the new killer. The controller to a killer robot, or something.
I'm just saying, there is no way they are releasing a survivor-only chapter. The new killer is regularly what keeps people interested in the game..
