Did they change dull totems?

I have started using the nancy inner strength perk, and since the map updates I am having an excessivly hard time finding dull totems. They arent spawning in any of the places that they used to on maps, and it feels like there are less over all. Is this due to the perk, or has there been a change? Does anyone know?

    Yes, with the map reworks, they made totems more difficult to find. They still have some out in the middle of nowhere and in the center of hills, but some are really well hidden.

    It's not just the map updates. I've noticed slight structure changes and totem placement every once in a while.

    Because I am noticing them not spawning in places like 'between the two boxes against the wall' on maps with stone walls, they arent in the little [___] hiding areas on coldwind anymore. They still spawn on coldwind in the corner w/ the trailer and the barrel next ot the wheel but significantly less.

    I am personally finding it frustrating, they were already fairly pointless ot hunt for without the perk, now TRYING to find them its difficult, so they will just be totally ignored unless you are trying to find a lit one.
