Why do killers close lockers?

So I noticed with some animations they slam the locker in anger, with some they seem to close the locker. Like it’s out of respect to the entity keeping his realm tidy.
If I’m walking around looking for survivors to butcher I think id just be ripping lockers open and walking off ya know? But these killers seem insistent on respectfully not leaving the lockers open.
Where it gets even stranger is the fact that killers close lockers yet they automatically close themselves if left alone
Which got me thinking of the entity of some kind of “mommy” figure insisting the killers keep their room clean and tidy.
After all those slashes and moris who cleans up all the blood, bones and gore from around the realms? Notice when you start a trial most realms are fairly clean so someone has done a clean up. I’m picturing Myers Legion right now scrubbing the bloodstains out of the floor like in Breaking Bad

There's not such thing as "cleaning the realms after every trial".
The realms are re-created from scratch every time a new trial begins by the Entity using the memories of the ones that lived there before they were taken (the killers).

Well that just leaves the question of why killers bother closing lockers when they close on their own.
Honestly I'm not sure it's for any logical reason, it's probably just for video game reasons.

For video game reasons, yes, and also the Entity wants things to go a certain way. The survivors have to have hope that they can survive, and purposely frustrating the killers will add to their bloodlust and anger. All of these emotions are things the Entity feeds off of. It's a "game" to both Entity and the sense that it's a video game

Or the survivors ! Some maps are memory shared with some of them ( Badham Quentin, Ormond Jeff, Midwich Cheryl, Crotus Prenn Nea, Haddonfield Laurie.. )

For me it remains a mystery why survivors do not take weapons from the locker. Why the entity is not to create separate boxes for storage of weapons of killers survivors are not able to open?
