8 seconds of immunity or a 5 second headstart

I think a 5 second head start comes out slightly ahead if the killer hits the 8 seconds immunity. If the killer doesn't hit the 8 seconds immunity and follows along then the gap becomes wider. Although, this also depends on killer I guess.

yes and if they have ub then you still have to wait out ds and god forbid you can't count to 60 perfectly and there is a hex in play

Not if they are near a window or pallet though (in about a 32m radius of them)
