Is this a sign?

First off, I'm not a fortnite guy lol. Lets clear that right off the bat. I keep up to date with a lot of gaming news, and caught wind today of new fortnite "skins" Ripley and The Xenomorph from the Alien series. I have no idea how buying the rights to "skins" works, but just wondering if anyone else does...

If Fortnite is allowed rights to these two characters from the series, who is to say DBD, couldn't also obtain rights?

I get what you're saying and I'd love to see Alien come to dbd, but how would it even work? We don't even know if the devs have tried to get Alien.

  • No offense but fortnite money and DBD money are two very different categories.

DBD would still have to purchase the rights. Fortnite having the rights to a skin doesn't mean other companies can do the same.

TBH with how the game has become lately... would anyone be willing to lend their licensed characters to DBD/BHVR anymore?

    Here's how buying rights works.

You pay money, then you get the rights.

For properties which are valuable, you pay lots of money, because the use of the property will probably bring in lots of outside interest to your property.

Alien is a massive franchise, so the price is high.

Epic Games is rich, and Fortnite is a huge money maker.
