Might the new killer be an Android?

I've only seen a few people mention this possibility.
It would explain the glitches, the hidden face, the picture of a pink iris, the tweet "Been working all night" (creating the android), and surely would be considered by the creator to be their magnum opus.
Its also possible this creator is the new survivor.
Thoughts?

So it'd be a Frankenstein scenario? I doubt it, they could just literally include Frankenstein, I'm pretty sure Shelley's work is in the public domain.

iPhone users love hating on Androids so they would never play this killer

That'd be an interesting change of pace. Now I'm really excited, lol.

If it is, it needs to be the one from mandalorian.

Theme and visuals and probably game mechanic concept of an Android killer would be totally different from a Frankenstein's monster. Besides that general stories often appear very similar, but their execution is what makes them unique. Just think about it how many revenge or people suddenly snapping stories DbD has e.g.

I believe the Dev's expressed not wanting to use any public domain ideas- Such as myths, urban legends, older books. If they decided to take from the public domain we could get killers like Dracula, which I don't think fit's into the theme and general aesthetic DbD has. There would be a whole list they could be taking from. We could get a Lovecraftian chapter, but that would be a bit harder to implement than something as straightforward as Frankenstein's Monster or Dracula.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too.
As long as gameplay wise the killer is unique enough, it doesn't matter how similar the lore is. Plus, maybe this is the dev's version of a Frankenstein scenario. That is if they don't intend on including the actual one, which I have a feeling is the case.

Yeah, I can kinda agree with that stance. I think that if the devs use the original stories, as written by Shelley, Stoker, etc., nobody will recognize them because they're used to the modern versions and they'll complain that they're not "accurate".

Exactly. I just can't see the typical version of Dracula or Frankenstein standing next to killer's like Pyramid Head or The Legion. I also have no idea how the Public Domain works internationally.
