PS5/PS4 Xbox Series/Xbox One Friend List Bug

There has been a bug with the friends list, i have recently got the PS5 and each time my friends on PS4 invite me to a game, it comes up with them sending me a friend request. I was wondering if anyone who has PS5 or Xbox Series X or S has the same problem as me.
