Just sharing
I just played a match against a pig and I noticed one survivor was about to head pop and just before she did she dc. End of match I see the pig was using an add on that doesn't show box locations idk I just found it funny and well it was new to me, never saw that add on before.
Also the other three survivors were Jane and two had pretty risqué names so coming into the match I was amused.

That addon only hides box auras when the rap isn’t active

If they spent most of the match time running around looking for boxes they weren't gonna lose many bp, and if it was the first dc in a 24 hour period what's an extra 5 minutes on a 15 to 20 minute queue... so yeah denying somebody that wasted their time and annoyed them so much the kill credit is something I would have done in the same situation. And then I would have flipped on control ultimate or nioh 2 remaster if I was playing dbd on ps5 at the time or curse of the dead gods if I was playing it on steam at the time. No sweat off my back.

Explain how the guy almost got head popped then? Because I swear getting chased with the trap pauses the timer.

Getting chased doesn't pause the timer. Only if they are a dying state or hooked.

Getting chased most definitely does pause the timer of the Pig's RBT's.

The timer does pause in a chase

It does? I'm sure I have been downed by it while be chased. Must have been something else. Maybe I was maimed(or whatever it is called) and didn't notice.
