Why does lucky break have a 180 sec timer?
The timer is very limiting. Can't the perk tiers just be scaled more like iron will? Like tier 1 is a little blood left then tier 2 is very little blood and then no blood for tier 3. Even with these changes it's not as good as iron will.

Joke aside, no timer would be very good buff or at least make it 2x the base timer or refresh the timer once you get healed or something.

I used it yesterday and thought the timer refreshed. When I saw it hadn't I was like "Bruh".

Not dropping blood is actually really powerful, especially with Iron Will. Lucky Break needs to have limitations, though personally I think those limitations should mean you earn it like Inner Strength or Deliverence, not it just has a hard stop.

If you could earn it back... That would be awsome too. But solo just 3 min no blood unless you run med-kit is kinda not worth the perk slot. I would rather run No Mither to never leave blood than this perk.

I think it's a fair trade if I need to use 2 perk slots to make it good with iron will. Even then killers dont always look for blood or have to look for blood to track.

Because it would be too busted paired with Iron Will.
Heck No Mither + Iron Will is busted if the player is exceptionally good at stealth. The killer can literally not hear you or track any blood.

2 perks for an extremely strong effect. No sound, no blood, no mid-chase tracking.

Exactly.

Maybe if you reduce the time to around 2 minutes, and whenever you healed up the timer refreshed it'd be a pretty good perk.

If it resetted when healed the perk would be very useful, I'd even shorten the timer to 90-120s.
I don't think it would be a problem if comboed with Iron Will, since that wouldn't just make survivors invisible.

Just make it so for every 2 seconds you're healthy, you get back one second on the perk. This eliminates the perk completely refreshing if you Self-Care at the last second, but also doesn't make it overpowered when given an unlimited duration and paired with Iron Will.

Do survivors not leave scratch marks during a mid chase?

Actually, a lot of the time they don't. They'll just randomly stop for a second every few... well, seconds, which is hugely devestating for a tracking tool. That's why they're extremely unreliable and pretty much just there to show you a general area.
Edit: also, they get almost completely hidden by grass.
