Some killers are way overpowered.

Idk if anybody has felt this way. But to put it plainly, some killers are way overpowered lately. Especially the ones who are so suited and already naturally overpowered in conjunction with camping and tunneling. The last few days have been absolutely ridiculous. Anyone have any thoughts?

Which killers are you talking about?

I play both sides equally and there’s absolutely nothing to complain about killer nowadays. It’s getting boring escaping solo and the only time I lose is when I get 1 hooked or not in a good mood and start getting annoyed with team mates.

You guys have sprint burst, dead hard, lithe, approx. 50 pallets from which majority are completely safe, so there’s nothing to complain about. I rarely ever experience getting camped and it’s mostly PC killers when their huge fps advantage doesn’t work but other than that it’s really not hard winning if you do gens.

I mean it really depends on what Killer's you're talking about.

Nurse? In the right hands, yes. Spirit is pretty damn near the OP mark too.

Pretty much everyone else? A lot of them are incredibly annoying, (Lookin at you, Fredster) but not OP.

Camping and tunneling makes any killer dangerous because most of the high ranks try to save their teammates and killer can set traps and ambushes easily. Other than that I can say that killer has more pressure then survivor. Even with 1 good survivor on the avg team, it is mostly that someone will escape.

There are some powerful killers like Nurse,Spirit and they re powerful cause they can stop loops. However a good survivor that knows them wont be rely on loops.

As both survivor and killer player I can say that killer has more pressure and it is more unforgiving than survivor play. As a survivor even if you are bad you can rely on your teammates and 3 good teammates can still carry the match. As a killer you are alone and one mistake that you did can cause you to lose 1-2 gens and even the whole game. Each completed gens will decrease the pressure of the killer.

There are no "op" killers. Sure nurse and spirit are strong, but does that mean it's impossible to escape vs them. Not at all, i think you just need to learn how to counter play.

Even if that's true a simple look into recent tournaments besides the japan one which didn't have a single advanced player, was on console, and heavily restricted the survivors reveals that survivors can win against nearly all killers.

btw no need to respond I wont debate this as it is common knowledge that is kinda not refutable unless you use the "Not all survivors are pro's" or whatever that can be easily solved with creating an swf and simply getting good at the game.

I wouldn't say killers are overpowered, I would say some of them are boring to play against because of the lack of information you're given to play against them.

I.e. spirit and deathslinger have no real chase counterplay but it doesn't mean they'll 4k every game and they're horribly unbalanced. Even if they get 1 down 3 other survivors can finish 3 generators and they still have theoretically 11 more hook states to get.

Freddy, nurse and twins feels overpowered for me.

They are just ridiculous when the players know how to play with them properly.

And to balance it out you have 15 killers that aren't viable in high ranks.

It's Not the killers, just need to change play styles to address them individually. I have seen strong players but not any op designs.

Anyone who says Nurse, Spirit and Freddy aren't overpowered are lying. I love playing Freddy, but yes, he's overpowered. I also think it's ok there are overpowered killers, up to a point. That point is exceeded by Nurse.
