Reading notes of PTB what does this mean?...

Tentatively fixed an issue that could cause the Killer to teleport next to the pallet while stunned with it.
Does that mean rework in the future or that the fix is for a limited time or only in PTB?
Thoughts?

    Tentatively in this context seems to indicate that they fixed the problem as far as they can tell.

    Welcome to programming. Even when you are sure you fixed every instance and scenario for a possible problem, there is still a small possibility that you missed a scenario where it can occur.

    Take it as a "diplomatic maybe". Or a yes, with the stipulation not to bite thier head off if they were not perfect on the first go.

    It appears most of them are mortal, if not fallible.

    Normally it says "fixed" maybe it suggests tweaking perhaps while still in PTB may occur and if unsatisfactory then it won't be released but that's just my guess.
    You make an excellent point though, people can be pretty harsh if the fix isn't perfect!
    I work in IT so programming is my bread and butter however I have never seen a fix labeled that way... Thank you for commenting made me think a lil more 👍😉

    My guess is that lag is a factor, so if the game is laggy you will still see it. But if you have good ping it shouldn't happen.
