Color blind mode question

Just curious, we know that the colorblind mode changes scratch marks and gen auras, but does it change the killers red stain? Or what about different colors (like highlights)?

Would be cool to get an answer because I'm trying to get my friend to pick up this game, but they're color blind.

It does change the killer's red stain, I can confirm that. What do you mean by highlights specifically though? Not entirely sure and I did run some fairly heavy tests on the two types I have last night.

sorry for taking so long, but perks like Better Together, Zanshin Tactics, Discordance etc.

The colour blind mode doesn't change the colours per se, it does change the red on the Deutranope but that's due to people with that type of vision having trouble seeing red on a dark background. The aura's of the perks that you mentioned are yellow so whilst people with other types of colour blindness might see them as a different colour (I think one type of colour blindness would see these as green) they would still see them.

It changes the red stain yes. I'm colourblind too and I was pretty impressed by the mode.

Some survivor cosmetics can be hard on some maps due to blending in with the background, autohaven and dark cosmetics especially makes them harder to track during movement, but you can use reshade or nvidia filters to compensate for that, both are free.
