About the Trickster
So, It turns out I was on the money to assume It was gonna involve K-pop when I said "Anything but K-Pop please" and here we are with a Killer who is Jared Leto's Joker..In fact that kind of seems to be who that is based on, think about it throwing knifes, tall and lanky and after he moris leaves a calling card of sorts and the Bat..WHY HE NO USE MIC STAND?! Well congress friends and fiends of the fog your real life suffering a K-pop crazies can now follow you to dead by daylight. Hopefully the gens still get done and people don't hang around him for them beats he drops when he chases.
He plays like a less effective Huntress tbh with some legion thrown in.
However, I do think his perks are funny as hell and are something people had ideas for.
On the other hand having a Killer every killer move to a halt when they use a skill is goofy..I would say let him keep his speed and let him go in reckless do to his large army of stabby tools or let him stand totally still but let him like fire that crap off like the worlds most arcuate submachine gun.
Overall will be played for meme factor alone...Til, someone finds some weird broken way to use em which causes him to get nerfed to the point of no return or He will just sit on a shelf collecting dust but bought for his perks.
However, you are not here for me to dunk on the Killer are you? I know what you are here for. It seems putting blue and pink in the promo convinced a lot of people we where getting something of the LGBT community which like everything caused a flame war the size of a small hornets net. Which has cause a lot of threads to come of late hell by the time you see this beat you have seen a few near It.
So, let us get It out of the way...There will be a LGBT connected character (devs decreed). This has already been said.. It is done, It has been over for ages.

As stated, already happening..Don't care. Nor am I shocked or mad or anything..I would be more shocked in this era to see a Devote religious character of any kind as a survivor or a Indian dude then LGBT tbh. Hell, If the LGBT character is like what we have had "Super Awesome successful person" then I will be more likely to #########. Cause, like that has been the survivor type for the last few years..Where is my pissed off fast food person,where is the struggling waitress in collage, Where is the gang banger trying to get his life right? where are the normal people? Like, we started off strong when the game came out. We had the classics and the DLCs had A ball player with anger issues, A Gambler with some hard luck, and a Gamer..Now we got building designers, white Opera and people activity trying to hunt the Entity with resources to do so...Come on, throw me a bank rober, a end of the world bunker nut, a A vegan Hippy..ANYTHING ELSE BUT A OVERACHIVER!
In terms of the actual debate, I think people coming in too strong on the rep stuff And I am saying these on the fact people assumed when Blue and pink where together someone was gonna be trans. Now, when people talk about pandering and being in their face that is what they mean ya see. Because, you assumed two colors together was automatically a transsexual do to It being connected to that flag. It would be like smashing a massive pride flag on the top in start of June and having the Survivor pop out of the closest saying "I'm Gay". Or the Killer beating people with a Dildo while being dressed like Dr.Frankenfurter ..Which would be funny I mind you but this is not saints row, It is dead by daylight...We follow Archetypes not stereotypes. The Gay survivor is not gonna be dancing around half dressed and shaking his rump at male killers while waving a pride flag. That is stereotyping. But, he will be the first to get hooked, because that is usually how horror movies go.
In terms of people who don't want It...As stated before I am about sure It is like the 100 FNAF threads. After hearing something over and over you get tried of hearing. A lot of It comes down to "Enough already we hear you..Just stop making this thread over and over..I am trying to find a build thread for the trickster FFS" It also does not help that some people on both ends of the isles as far as the united states go have a "The personal is Political" ideal. So, If you are wondering why people say "Don' bring up politics" when this stuff is involved It because some clowns made It about such. You know as all things. Are there people who don't want a LGBT character cause they activity don't like em..Yes. It is more then 10%..more then likely not. Is most of It because making threads calling people out about not wanting a LGBT character in the game threads feeling like one large virtue singling dance party to see who is in the "in group" in a game with a already divided fanbase. More then likely.
Am I crazy for writing all this well max out on Dr.Pepper while writing a light novel about two Gay sharkmen falling in love in their sea based army while going to war with crabs and Lobsters? YOU BET YA I AM!
But, as always a long story short

He is a model they made that follows today's latest trend: A K-Pop star with PUBG throwing knives with the appearence of everyones least favourite Prince of Crime appearence. You could slap this exact fecker into Fortnite and he'd fit in better. Now I'm not sure if it was accidental or not, Trickster does look like a woman to look at. Heck when I first seen him before I knew it was a he, I thought it was a she. And bonus note, I thought the survivor was a vertically challenged person. It's just how it looked when I seen her 😅 but yeah, this chapter nobody wanted is a nightmare come true.

To be fair, he is Korean and in Korea this type of man isn’t directly considered to be feminine, they have other beauty standards and all.

Where would he be considered feminine? It's a different beauty standard, yes, but does he actually look feminine to people? Feels more like an easy insult than anything.

I took that as a cheap insult ("hurr durr kpop guy is gay ecks dee"), but maybe some people who aren't just trying to throw shade actually feel that he looks feminine.
