Crouch.. just like when you play against the hag. That’s really all I can say for now.

Except the moment you start unhooking the alert goes off and they can switch back to Victor in a heartbeat.

Then crouch up to Victor, crush him, and then unhook. That would work alright in a pinch as well.

Sweet now I know how to sneak up on the bugger. Can you initiate crush action while crouching or do you have to be standing?

If you hold crouch whilst unhooking it still wont trigger
