An Alternative for Immersed Survivors

You! Yes, you!

Are you an immersed player?

Do you like the idea of never being found by the killer?

Are your teammates angry at you for not doing gens?

Are you scared of touching gens because the killer might find you?

Well say goodbye to your problems with this simple technique!

Anyway the trick is to use Technician. Now you can do gens without that stupid thing making too much noise! But that's not all

Now failed skill checks will no longer make any noise! Take that Impossible Skill Check Doctor, how dare you ruin the fun of this rank 21 survivor!

Warning : Does not work against Tinkerer

So what are you waiting for?! Level up your Feng, start doing those gens, and please for the love of Nea stop Urban Evading in circles!

I like running self care, Urban Evasion, Spine chill, and Iron will. I'm sorry I can't swap out any of those for technician.

I'd recommend Technician to every new player. It's a fantastic perk to use when just starting out so you get use to skill checks without always alerting the killer to a gen. I'd rather lose more progression on a gen than have a new player constantly let the killer know what gen we're at. I typically run Prove Myself and help teammates on gens so please, Technician away.

I sometimes run Technician when I want to do a gen monkey build.

It's surprisingly effective, especially on gens that are up or down a floor from the killer. They'll basically have no idea if someone is working on those gens unless they manually go and check on them.

I don't see anything wrong with being that one person who is never found all match, doing all the gens in the background but eventually you do need to help take the pressure off of your teammates or be ready to spring into action for saves. All in all I think technician is a cool off-meta perk to have fun with. Do NOT bank on it to save you against impossible skill cheek builds. While it will stop gens from exploding, it regresses repair progress by an insane amount but yeah, not notifying the killer from a missed skill check is actually pretty cool and has saved me a few times.
