Last two survivors alive, you are the one hooked, what do you do?
This is the scenario: There are only two survivors alive, you being one of them. There are still 3 gens left to do and there are no keys in play. You have been hooked, you are in the struggle phase and the killer is not actually camping, but also not very far away. Also, the other survivor is a random and not a friend you are playing with. The question is, what do you do?
Do you hold on as long as possible, maybe for points, maybe to let the other survivor came save you or find the hatch? Or do you let go, so there is a chance for the other survivor to live? I have seen people just hold on when there is no hope of being saved, letting the killer find the other survivor and others which let go if they are hooked, so someone else can possibly get the hatch. What do you do?

Sometimes I hold on, sometimes I let go, it depends
I watch the other survivor's movements and can usually tell if they're making an attempt, hiding, or close to being found. I make my choice from there

I'll hold on to give them time in case of BBQ so they have a chance to escape or gain distance with the killer.
If I see they are coming to rescue me and the killer is close, I'll die so they don't risk it. But, if I see it's safe for them to come, I'll stay and get rescued.
Sometimes you got nothing to lose and I know I would try to rescue in that scenario

If gens are done, I'd probably hold out cause who knows how good the other survivor is. But if gens aren't done and hatch is spawned in, I'd probably let go and let them get hatch, especially if they already found it. Only time I wouldn't let them get hatch is if they were being annoying and not doing anything throughout the game.

Depends entirely on how the other survivor/the killer played that game.
Were they useless cowards? Then assuming the killer wasn't toxic, I'm hanging on until they're caught.
Were they solid teammates? Then I'll let go to give them a fighting chance.

If that other survivor was a good teammate and played nice, I let go so they can try and find the hatch.
If they were a nasty player (farmed teammates, urban evaded the whole match, didn't work on a single gen, etc.) you bet I'll struggle as much as I can, cause usually those kind of players only look out after themselves and will probably let you die to find the hatch.

Most times, I let myself die on the hook right away
Especially when i see them teabagging, that means they found the hatch. UNLESS they played like bots, then i make sure i take the killer to them before getting downed.

I usually just let go unless the other person has been a terrible team mate, then I return the favor

if the survivor camped the hatch without attempting to come for me or just did nothing the entire match but crouching in corners = i'll hold on
if the survivor played really well during the match and found the hatch or have a chance to do so = i'll let go

If I can tell that my teammate is coming for the save then I'll hold on. Otherwise, I'll give up in the hope that my teammate can find hatch first.

Depends, if the killer keeps returning and the survivor has been a decent teammate during the match I'll let go and give them a chance to get hatch.
However if the other survivor is coming towards me and wants to come and save me I'll let them so they get points and carry on playing. But if the teammates been useless during the trial then I'll hang on till the very end because they don't deserve to escape.

I'd rather my teammate get the hatch then me, usually because I probably played like ass anyway
I'll hold on if all gens are done and an exit gate is open though

I usually wait for them to give the signal that they have found hatch...that is unless they played like a c*nt that game and screwed other people over or failed far too many skill checks and got themselves or others caught.

It ultimately depends on how I think said teammate played & acted that game. Here's what I mean:
I'll let go & give you a chance if:
- If I know you're on top of/looking for hatch/running from the killer and you were a teammate who tried their best and played to the best of your ability, I don't have a problem with letting go. Even if you went down in 2 seconds, atleast you were trying.
I'll hold on & hope the killer catches you if:
- You were the opposite as said above, a crappy teammate who didn't care about anyone other than yourself. This can range from sandbagging someone, letting others hit 2nd hook on purpose, leading the killer to others as well as being too stealthy, etc.
Just be considerate of others and sure enough others will be considerate of you.

From the killer perspective, my experience is that the random survivor will most likely camp the hatch waiting for the other one to die.
