Legion's Feral Frenzy Re-work
Current statistics
Movement speed: 4.6 m/s
Feral Frenzy: 5.2 m/s
Terror Radius: 32 m
Feral Frenzy's Terror Radius: 40 m
FERAL FRENZY:
Trigger Feral Frenzy to run at high speed and chain attacks between multiple Survivors.
When the Power gauge is full, press the Power button to initiate Feral Frenzy.
While Feral Frenzy is active, The Legion moves faster (5.2 m/s) and gains access to additional abilities: Pallet Vault and Feral Slash.
SPECIAL ABILITY: Feral Vault:
Press the Interaction button while in Feral Frenzy to perform a swift Feral Vault (0.9 seconds) at any Pallet
or Window .
SPECIAL ATTACK: Feral Slash:
Press the Attack button while in Feral Frenzy to perform a Feral Slash.
Hitting a Survivor with Feral Slash puts them into the Injured State
and inflicts the Deep Wound
Status Effect.
Additionally, this refills The Legion's Power gauge and all Survivors within the Terror Radius
not already afflicted with the Deep Wound Status Effect have their location revealed by Killer Instinct.
If the hit Survivor was already afflicted with the Deep Wound Status Effect or The Legion misses the attack, Feral Frenzy ends immediately .
Feral Frenzy Re-work suggestion
- For every successful attack with feral slash on to a survivor that is not in deep wound state, will increase the movement speed, and duration of Feral Frenzy until the power is depleted or canceled out.
- Hitting a survivor with feral slash puts them into the injured state, inflicts the deep wound and hemorrhage status effect until they have fully mended.
- Attacking a survivor that has already been hit with feral slash, while still in deep wound state will inflict them with the hinder status effect, reduce 7 seconds from the deep wound timer, as well it will cancel out and deplete rest of feral frenzy.
- Chaining feral slash to every survivor in the trial during the duration of feral frenzy, will inflict the exposed status effect on the first survivor of that chain (once mended), that first survivor of the chain will now have a white colored killer instinct until the remaining duration of feral frenzy.
- Hitting a survivor that has the exposed effect status with feral slash will down the survivor, cancel out and deplete the remaining duration of feral frenzy.
- Will be able to see blood pools, awhile in feral frenzy.
- Legion's movement speed will be reduced to 4.4 m/s
Example:
Feral Frenzy Duration: 10s (base), 11.5s (1st), 12.5s (2nd),13.5s (3rd), and 15s (4th/max).
Feral Frenzy Speed: 5.2 m/s (base), 5.5 m/s (1st), 5.7 m/s (2nd), 5.9 m/s (3rd), and 6.2 m/s (4th/max).
Reasoning
This will make legion's power worth suffering from a 20 second cool down, getting punished for missing your first feral slash hit, having a bigger terror radius awhile using your power and enduring a 4 second fatigue after using feral frenzy. Also I personally believe this will not only make their power more fun to use, it will give more incentive to chaining feral slash on to other survivors across the map awhile rewarding the player for doing so and making the legion's power more viable in general. the add-ons will have to be completely re-worked to fit these new changes.
would love to hear everyone's feed-back on this, as i feel this seems more plausible for the devs to do than starting from scratch.
