Im asking because my friend has been banned "due to repeatedly breaking the terms of the game's EULA across multiple accounts" as they said. and he is been playing the game since 2016.

Are you on Steam? If yes, I've heard you can share your games and DLC with a family account. I never done it tho.

Simply having 2 accounts is no problem, i do that too.

Yes he is in steam, and he bought the game twice and skins too.
We know some streamers did that too with no ban, Can some of the devs explain the ban please?

Sounds like he was breaking terms of the games EULA (I guess stuff like hacking?) and he did so on multiple accounts. The fact that he had multiple accounts wasnโt the reason for the ban.

That doesnโt mean heโs being banned for having multiple accounts, heโs being banned for repeatedly committing bannable offenses across his multiple accounts. So the real question is, what exactly does your friend keep doing? ๐

Maybe you guys are right, But i know for sure he didn't hack or change any of the game's files, The only thing i can think of is the stretched resolution.

maybe he got reported for griefing with evidence or exploiting bugs/glitches? or harassment in end-game chat, slurs etc.
i donโt want to accuse your friend of anything, the hacking was just an example.

There's no start over option, nor can you make different profiles on one account.
I'm someone who, if the game is thoroughly enjoyable, likes to start all over again.
Did it with multiple games before, i'm not making DbD an exception.
Though i won't be able to get everything i want from the Rift on both accounts, i have my limits. ๐

I wanted to play survivor at different tiers. Main account is red ranks until I get sick of the sweat on both sides. Secondary account is my Dwight only account for memes. Tertiary account is for when I want chill games.
im sure people will assume I bully on my lowbies, but that is not the case. I die pretty often on all three accounts. Hehe

You can use all the accounts you want but
If you got banned permanently on the main, you will get banned on the second as well.

It makes sense! I love to start over as well, I understand. I don't count the number of time I created a new character in The Elder Scrolls games, for instance.

Whenever i added like 2-3 new mods in Skyrim i started all over, just to fully use those new mods.

Your "friend" is not telling you the whole story/truth. They know exactly why they got banned and it was not for just having multiple accounts.
