Having no fun playing killer
Hey forum!
I’ve recently come back to playing after taking a few weeks off, playing other games. I’m just finding generators popping so fast now, I’m not sure what’s going on.
I find a survivor at the start of a game, boom 2 generators are about to get done. It seems like I used to play a mixed bunch, of amateurs and good players. Now it seems everyone is an absolute god, knows all the loops, safe pallets. It’s topped off with BM, which actually does annoy me. I play fairly, but that gets me gen rushed.
######### am I supposed to do, I’m rank 1 again but I feel like a noob. I don’t feel like I’m a killer hunting 4 survivors, I feel like 4 survivors are just ######### with me.

Eh, maybe not a good advice, but don't worry that much about gens, and ignore the BMs. Focus on getting good at ending chases as fast as you can.

The game is pretty difficult for killer, survivor objective is tremendously faster to accomplish
So just don't worry about gens, focus on chases, they are the fun part of the game anyways.

It's just your perception the genrush has always been like this, I guess to keep up the pace of being rank one you have to play very often.

Your build should consist of at least one gen regression perk, unless you are a killer who can down fast like spirit or nurse

Insidious bubba, with NOED, BloodWarden and bitter murmur. There's no bad match this way, and you will get at least 2 kills with no effort whatsoever

You gotta play like a dirty ######### to destroy Survivors these days.
Twins, Nurse, Spirit, Blight, Hag and Pyramid Head are probably the strongest picks because none of them do "traditional" looping very much and their powers have low counterplay if the Killer is high skill.

This. Put this perk on and defend the four generators, which are usually close together, at the start of the match, downing someone if the opportunity comes up.
You need to pressure the survivors, so defend the generators over getting early hooks.

Yeah im also getting very burnt out as killer honestly. I have liked it a lot in the past but lately I've primarily faced red rank teabagging swf which gets super old

The game is not even remotely balanced around good survivors and "fair-playing" killers.
Everyone who claims otherwise is straight up lying to you.
I've started playing SWF with 1 person. So 2-man SWF.
We started around a week ago and lost around 3 matches. Imagine if we played in a 4 man team.
In fact I don't feel like playing survivor anymore because it's just sitting on gens for a few minutes and escape without a chase or 1 chase.
Both of us are glued on gens and know how to loop just about any killer other than Nurse and Spirit so if the killer chases me it's GG and if the killer chases her it's GG as well UNLESS the 2 randoms refuse to do their part of the mission.
It is beyond me how people can play in a 4 man team with meta perks AND items without getting bored because even in a SWF-of-2 it feels like straight up bs how easily we win most of our matches.

Not sure what are you complaining about. You are rank 1, so you know how to play, and getting good results, otherwise you would lose your rank.
Your issue is that you don't get 4 kill games? That survivors do gens? Or you had a bad match?

People can say whatever they want, but survivor is much, much easier than killer in higher rank.

Change what you interpret as a "win". I've started playing to my own rules and am having so much more fun.
At the moment I'm playing as a wraith and only moves when theres 1 gen left.
Still get survivors complaining about the perks I bring, etc even after giving them 4 gens for free but I chuckle at those ones because theres almost nothing else I could have given them without being AFK the entire game
