A way to deal with facecamping

Before I give my idea I just want to say that I don't care if I get camped, it doesn't bother me or upset me, I just move on. It's mainly the fact that you and others can lose their rank and bp, because of someone else's toxic actions. That being said I thought of a way to make it where the killer will not be able to face camp, anyone. The idea is that when the killer is a certain distance from the hook for 45 seconds, The entity will basically move the killer to a random part of the map, now the random will obviously prevent it from getting free map pressure by porting him close to a generator or on someone and make him immobile for like a pallet stun duration. Now again I don't care about myself getting camped, but others clearly do. I am a killer main so don't come attacking me or bring up survivor perks or anything because I don't care. I'm open for discussion but if you come in here with "what about", I'm not responding.LMK your thoughts and ideas otherwise.

Some things to consider

  • Maybe instead of the killer being moved, make it the survivor being ported to another hook.
  • The distance required to count it as "face camping" to port the killer and or survivor.
  • After a certain time, disable the killer's power for a duration.
  • Maybe this is disabled during the endgame because at that point, the survivors have already won the game at that point?

Okay, but what about Survivors hanging around near the hook?

    What about the EndGame Collapse?

What if it's the best play for the Killer to camp said Survivor?

    To address your considerations:

1.) Moving the Survivor would be ideal.

2.) The distance would need to be within 4 meters of the hook or so.

3.) Disabling the Killer's power is a very very very bad idea.

4.) The Survivors do not win until they are out of the Exit Gates.

Okay, and what did you plan to give the killer in return? You are rewarding survivors that just swarm the hook now and punishing killer, so you must have something to give them if you are going to globally nerf all killers right?

Same with tunneling, I am all for making the more difficult or impossible, but you have to give something back you can't just take. The game is balanced and unfortunately designed around these mechanics as options for certain times.

No; just no. The only way to reduce (you will never eliminate) any kind of camping is to make it WORTH the Killer's while. Punishments won't work (we are talking about the Killer's objective here), nor will clunky mechanics that will have their own unintended consequences.

I've said it before and I'm sure I will say it again many times, the only way to encourage a Killer to leave the vicinity of the hook is to provide them with BP/Emblem advancement, i.e. for every second they are outside a certain range of the hooked Survivor they earn something like Survivor Bold.
