SSMM works great (no sarcasm)
After playing some hours I had 7 matches in a row with skilled random teammates! I mean - holy ######### - they were doing gens!!!! And they even stayed longer than 10 seconds in a chase * - * ( Im used to being the only one who is doing gens and juking the killer while most of my mates are self caring/ urban evading around the map, even in red ranks ) The funny thing is, I had people between rank 1 - 10 and they all played very well :D
Same to me as killer. I had decent players between rank 1 and 10, and no chuck norris-depip- death-squads I usually get very often :D It was really amazing, cuz I dont like to tryhard all the time.
Anyone else here who made some positive experiences? :)

My games have been decent too. A little bit shaky at times but nothing time can't fix.

My experiences with the new MMR have been amazing so far.
Survivor AND killer matches got a lot more interesting on average.

The matches I have been in have been better. The ones that don't like it seem to be the ones who depip or artificially increase their rank using SWF because they are now in the matches that match their actual skill level.
Went against a killer yesterday a red rank 2 when all the survivors were rank 16 to 18 and the player playing the killer was not a rank 2 skill wise. It was a balanced match.

I noticed it took significantly longer to get into a game (even as a Killer it took a while), but the games I did get into were really nicely balanced. I'm sure the wait times will get better as more data is fed into the system, but hey, it's a promising start

Mine have been up and down some were everyone's on the same skill level and some where there's a big difference.
But it's a lot better than last time they tried MMR so even though it needs some more work it's a step in the right direction.

So far i like it. My solo experience hasn´t been as horrible as expected. Most of the time i got some decent teammates.

Every match I played yesterday was close. No stomp in either directions. Most of the time it was 2 escapes and 2 kills

I got a match with 3 red ranks as Trapper
I haven't touched trapper since Pyramid Head's release

I have only tried killer and I’m only rank 15 but only getting rank 1-4 in my matches, played 10 so far and are about to give up this is gonna kill it for me for sure

Positive in terms of both my opponent(s) and fellow survivors. The standard has improved, the challenge is greater but fairer and it's just been far more enjoyable!
The main thing for me is no matter the result, a good match involves feeling it was both competitive and fair. If I lose badly, then it's down to my own errors as much as the skill of the others, and vice versa. I want to know I've earnt a win, rather than basically won from the start. I've not had that feeling under the new MMR.

At the start they were kinda ######### I'll admit, but then I did get good killers and survivors. I think it works great, even if most of my teammates were green ranks (I'm rank 4)

I'm not sure how i feel about it yet, It seems to be very hit or miss.
I just hope they don't hide MMR when it does eventually come out because let's be honest DBD has had matchmaking issues since the beginning.

It's been better today than it was yesterday in my experience. But i may have just had bad luck or people needed to settle into their places more

I think it´s best to ignore the ranks then. Because the MMR doesn´t take ranks into account.

I am aware of this, but the thing is
In order to hit red ranks as survivor, it has to be decently often on when you escape and you have to work on generators, meaning even though they were red ranks, I haven't played Trapper since the start of the MMR tracking

I wish I could say the same. have been matched up with only red ranks killers today (6 matches) & I’m rank 9. Sigh.

my teammates are suddenly gods. no joke ive genuinely played this game for the fun and not cuz of grinding for once. nothing makes me mad anymore in this game. like holy ######### even queue times seem better (5:30pm and finding a match takes about a minute)
