So is anyone actually going to play trickster for a while?
I know it's too early to say this, but does anyone here actually have any plans on possibly maining trickster despite him being incredibly weak, and with no solid buffs we have yet to see yet? I plan on leveling him up for his perks, but that's about it. I just don't think he would be able to compete with any remotely decent team.

Nope.
He’s right now a low skill, low reward, not interesting in anything at all besides aesthetic. So I’m not gonna play him.

Will i "lose" a lot? Maybe but a fun game beats a won game.

I think he's going to get bullied a lot. He seems weaker than any other killer in the game and that's what's unfortunate. Considering the last 2 killers we have gotten have been A tier at least.

I'm pretty sure some people will play trickster until they get bored or annoyed with him. Devs have said they will compare the stats with huntress and deathslinger after 2 months.

If he goes live as he currently is on the ptb I will just get the adept and that's it at least until buffed.

You say that now, but after a few days survivors will know exactly how to counter him. Meaning you will basically never be able to use your power, since you are always slower than survivors while using your ability or ultimate.
Getting bullied with a 110% M1 killer and futilely trying to make it work doesnt sound fun to me.
Lets hope he gets some good buffs since he has some potential i guess.

With most of the weaker end killers you are at least able to make it work somewhat. I don't think you can make it work with trickster though no matter how hard you try.

We'll see. I would like some buffs too but i do feel that people are looking a bit too much at his weak side and not at his strong side.
Yes when you reach a long wall loop you can't do much. But vica versa if you have a low wall loop survivors are powerless.
Honestly the community really isn't that good at seeing how good or bad killers are so i would rather see for myself how good or not he is
I do hope that the ricochet basekit buff is still coming. I hate how they hide such a fun aspect of his power behind a purple addon. Hell i would take even a brown addon that adds one ricochet

i will not play with that killer for sure, i won't even buy him. it's not about more powerful or something he just not interesting like twins,like all recent killers. but i will play new survivor for sure, she seems cute.

I'm going to try, because I can see him being incredibly fun if they tweak the recoil/artificial innaccuracy. I'm fine playing a weak killer if I can get in cool shots.

I saw a 2nd Twins yesterday since the release, she is so rare to play against I was quite confused when I heard her TR and couldn't match it to any killer at first.
Well, it wasn't a good match for her, she tried to play fair and didn't overly slug every one that much not camped anyone to death with her bb... I mean Viktor.
She is so flawed when not playing scummy it is sad.
Don't really know how Trickster will fit in, he doesn't seem to have that scummy feeling besides being Legion 1.0 Lite, with a bit more counterplay due to passive laceration degradation...
I assume he will be as rare as hag or pig, once release "hype" ends.

I'm pretty sure i'll main him for a while. Tried in ptb, seemed fun and i absolutely love some of the sound effects he comes with.
Will i 4k? Probably not but i don't play killer for the 4k anyway so im good.

Plans for next chapter goes blight, wraith then huntress. I can't think of a single reason to play trickster over huntress besides maybe meme's. Thats just not a good selling point for me. I can't express skill with him in any unique ways so whats the point in playing him.

I'll likely play him every now and then when I think up a gimmick build to run with him. But I hardly think it'll be fun most of the time.

I don't actually think he is all that weak; I certainly didn't have that experience with him. However, I will not be playing him because I found him one note, and tedious. I'll spend points on him to unlock his Perks, but that is about it.

I'll level him to 40 so I can get his perks, and, if I enjoy him, I'll add him to my general rotation. If I don't enjoy him, he'll go into the "only for dailies" group along with a few others. I'll still play him though.

i will get the perks and achievement and then will probably not touch him depending on how well he preforms because the changes that the devs showed us were not that interesting

I will at least give it a chance. It's colorful, I like colorful - so I'll take a look at how it plays outside the PTB in the days to come.
As a self-confessed PIG main, I don't need an overpowered killer to have fun. Maybe he has potential to become my new number 4. 🙄

I'll probably play him a little bit, but if I'm probably not gonna play him for long because I could just play Huntress or slinger instead and have a much better time. There is a fun killer there but he needs a few more buffs. He's not a complete atrocity like the Twins, all he needs is a few tweaks.
