There really is no point in buying the Ash vs Evil Dead Paragraph (Change my mind)
Ahh, remember when this chapter was released with no PTB and out of nowhere, good times. Anyways after the MOM nerf this paragraph has nothing else to offer, all 3 perks are outclassed and current MOM takes way too much work to trigger (which is understandable) not sure why it still has the downside, no point really.
I don’t see a point for new players to even purchase this chapter, unless you like Ash as a character but other than that, it has nothing to offer.
I hope the Devs will revisit Ash and Quentin’s Perks. I think they are by far the least used characters (From what I have seen) at least give them 1 useful perk.

That's why they don't make survivor paragraphs anymore. They have to make at least one perk meta or no one will buy it because you're pretty much just buying a perk pack.

Survivors are not worth getting even with shards since most of their perks are rubbish and they all play the same, unless their character model appeals to you is better to save the shards for the Shrine.

Nothing to change. Either it's worth it to you or it isn't. I bought ash without even looking at the perks, just because he's actually voiced by Bruce. That's what made the purchase Worth it to me, and I don't regret it a bit. Obviously not everyone will feel the same.

I bought him because I love him as a character, not for his perks. Although, I do actually really enjoy Flip-Flop.

It's for fans of Evil Dead just like all the other licensed dlc. Just don't buy it if you don't find it interesting.

Flip flop, power struggle is low key pretty nuts and if your desire to buy a survivor for there perks is heavily based on how meta they will be its kind of an uphill struggle. How are you gonna beat the meta survivor perks without breaking the game. Do you want some bt 2.0 where you both get protection from being downed post unhooking a survivor? Maybe you would like adrenaline 2.0 where every gens you pop restores a health state. See what I mean if these perks saw the light of day the game would be horrendously broken. Perks like flip flop are fantastic and current MoM is the kind of fun perk that actually create some great moment without horribly breaking the game.

Just curious here, how many times have you managed to get Flip-flop and Power Struggle to synergise? Is it worth using half your perk slots for the chance at stunning the killer after being slugged?

I agree. I would only advise fans of Ash/Evil Dead franchise to purchase. The included perks aren't anything special. But many DBD diehard completionists will buy all killers and survivors.

Oh I still love the paragraph for Ash. His voice lines are great, and his cosmetics were a bop from the start. Also, I love Flip-Flop. It's not an amazing, meta-changing perk, but when you get that sweet, sweet Flip-Flop value off without using another perk, it's pretty pog.
Besides, you can argue this same thing for a lot of the Survivor perks in licensed chapters- Hell, even Killer perks. I haven't seen anyone run any of Cheryl's perks unless they're new to Cheryl or they're going for a Unbreakable+Soul Guard play- same with PH's perks. Pig has a decent set of perks, but people running Tapp's are rare. Steve's perks are never really seen outside of Tournaments, you rarely see any of the Nightmare Chapter's perks... the list goes on.
My point is, there are a lot of not-so-great perks floating around. Be it Killer or Survivor. There's a lot of chapters that you really don't have to buy, because the perks aren't great. Usually what makes them worth it though is because you get to play as your fav horror characters, or because you like the killer/Survivor. (This all applies to unliscensed chapters as well).
Don't wanna buy them? Cool, just earn shards and buy their stuff from the Shrine.
