The Reason Trickster is Late
Is it only me or does it seem a bit suspicious that this chapter is late. Sure, if it was another chapter then who cares, but coincidently it's the same chapter that DS is getting reworked.
I personally think there reworking DS again lol, it does seem logical. They also could be adding the new OoO into this patch as well, I mean it's not impossible because the general concept it there. Idc if DS stays or goes, rework a perk I'll just use other ones. No killer [Bad Word] can tunnel me.

I'm p sure they were fixing bugs for a lot longer than usual and had to publish the updates to the console versions a bit later, which is why we have to wait at least next week for the update to be live. Maybe they'll give announcements about what they've changed on Monday.

there were also optimization issues that would make the game unplayable on console and low end PC's, im sure that probably is why. the game already ran like sh*t on PS4, XBONE, this chapter wouldve made those consoles implode.

Pretty sure it's because bug fixes. Also, this last mid chapter was delayed by a week too so it's not like the ONE time the update is delayed it just happens to be DS's nerfs update. I thought I heard somewhere that because of all the changes to the chapter and the bug fixes it's taking longer to get the okay for release from the different platforms. Although it isn't confirmed anywhere and I don't really care why they're taking longer as long as I'm not waiting past an extra week.

You do realise that A Binding Of Kin (Twins chapter) wasn't delayed and made the game unplayable with the sheer volume of bugs it brought?
You also realise the 'Known Issues' list on the PTB would've ALSO made this game so incredibly unplayable. Hex:Ruin literally didn't function, grabbing someone as Nurse could render you immobile for the rest of the trial, Demo didn't get killer instinct and Victor would get stuck in the basement.

Heard a rumor they made some last minute changes and need approval for console, and it is just taking a bit too long. If anything crazy comes out of it and they actually did tweak a lot of things, I'd be delighted, but I personally doubt that is what's happening.
