Shards cap?

I've always spent my shards in the shrine buying perks, never survivor/killers. Recently I've been saving my shards up for the new survivor Yun-Jin Lee. I'm on 8K+ but I was wondering if there is a cap on how many you can hold at a time. Does anyone know? thnx

    There's no cap. You can get as many as you want

    I've seen people with like 100k shards

    If you hover over the currencies it will tell you if that specific one is capped or not. As far as I know BP is the only one that is capped.
