Reading into their lore entries again... It makes me sad there's the implication that Bayshore and the warden perhaps survived after all while all of Caleb's posse died. Because if the 'mad mick massacre' IS a reference to when caleb stormed the prison, it means it got watered down instead of made weirder. such stories only get watered down when the wrong guys get to write history.

It's the reason Karina is tied to Slinger, her goal is to bring light to the wrongdoings of the world and Slinger was severely wronged and the media painted him as a monster, a victim who had their legacy destroyed by phony journalism pitted against a journalist who seeks to help those in need.
