Is this a nerf to Trickster or was this in the PTB already?

I just played a game against Trickster and he had me at full laceration only needing to hit me one more time to injure me. He breaks chase and uses a basic attack to injure another completely different survivor and 6 of my laceration meters went away immediately, then the remaining two when he hit another.

I honestly have no clue how he could have been released so......handicapped.
