New Killer Idea: The Butcher
The Butcher
Nobody truly knows the identity of The Butcher. All that is known is that he runs his shop in the middle of nowhere, that he always covers his face, and that he sells the most delicious meat in the entire state. And that's all anyone knew of him, until one Summer night like no other. That night, six unfortunate souls entered the shop to purchase some of Butcher's famous cuts. One left. He managed to reach the police and tell them about what he saw. The screaming, the killing. Before long the shop that once stood alone and quiet was surrounded. After the night ended and The Butcher was presumed dead, his former shop was boarded up and condemned. It was only heard from once ever again: when a driver reported a thick fog surrounding the building.
Base Head: A crudely made head covering and mask with a tinted visor, shrouding the wearer in anonymity.
Base Body: A transparent, bloodstained apron over an everyday t-shirt and jeans.
Base weapon: A cleaver with a notched handle for each victim killed, packaged, and sold.
Power: Calculated Slaughter
This power is built up throughout the match, and as The Butcher works to reach it he receives tools to help him along the way.
Murderous Rampage: To activate murderous rampage, different criteria must be met.
- Four unique survivors must be hit by a basic attack at least once.
- At least one survivor must be put into the dying state or hooked.
- You must destroy at least three pallets.
Once these criteria are met, Murderous Rampage can be activated. During Murderous Rampage, you move 15 percent faster, your lunge has a longer range and is faster, kicking gens deals triple regression, and hooking a survivor causes all other survivors to become exposed. Murderous Rampage lasts 15 seconds, but downing a survivor gives you 10 extra seconds, hooking a survivor gives you 20 extra seconds but you no longer get extra time from downs. During Murderous Rampage you are unable to use your special attack, blood dash.
Blood dash: your speed is instantly increased to 150%. Any survivor you hit gets lowered a health state but you continue the dash for its duration and lose all turning control over it. The same applies when destroying a pallet with the dash. A loud noise can be heard when the dash starts and during the dash.
Perks:
Master of Hooks: Your deep knowledge of the hooks allows you to keep survivors in a continuous loop of pain. Survivors that are unhooked at least 40 meters away from you suffer from 20%/25%/30% decreased action speed in repairing generators, cleansing totems, healing, and sabotaging.
Hex: Fear and Punishment: Whenever a survivor misses a skillcheck on a generator, they have a 15/20/25 percent chance to start to suffer from a deep wound. If they remain on the generator, skillchecks become more difficult and missing one removes 5 seconds from the deep wound timer. This is a permanent effect. However, as long as this hex is standing, skillchecks are more difficult and frequent for all actions, and the survivor will suffer a deep wound from missed skillchecks 100 percent of the time on repairing as well as healing.
Paralyzing Paranoia: Your mere presence strikes fear into the hearts of survivors. Any survivor who takes an item from a chest will scream every 35/30/25 seconds as long as they hold the item.
