Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Hex: Ruin: Problem? Or not?

"God damnit the killer has ruin."

"Don't worry, i'm cleansing a Hex totem right now."

"WHAT."

"oh. It's uh, Haunted Grounds."

We have arrived at Hex: Ruin, a pretty well-known perk. Most notorious for it's "nerf". A lot of people say that Ruin was, well, ruined.

So, opinions on Hex: Ruin? And please don't just say "it got ruined."

Ruin has ruined my life, GoobyNugget.

Ruin nerf was a buff vs survivors who you actually need good perks to beat because they would hit old Ruin skillchecks anyways.

Even after the "nerf" its strong and it encourages the killer to keep moving to push people on gens. Honestly gen regression should be base in the game, this would even out the game a ton.

I think this version of ruin is better, it's much healthier for both teams now and you can actually get some decent value out of it. It's existence also gives Survalince more value.

No old ruin n lullaby was amazing it was a challenge to go against new ruin. Isn't regression doesn't start until you miss a skill check I rarely miss skill checks maybe 2 n ten matches if it is reverse doc and even then I hit them.
