Unpopular opinions

Okay. After being on this forum for about 5 months now, I've realized I've some unpopular opinions about certain things about DBD.

  • I never thought DS was a problem. Altho, I didn't see it as an "Anit-Tunneling perk". I saw it more as a slowdown perk. And I think it was nerfed a bit too much. I don't think it should deactivate when you heal, at least not when you heal someone from the dying state.
  • I don't think Nurse is broken at all. She's just really strong in the right hands.
  • Grinding in the Blood web is that bad. It gives me more motivation and it makes me play more matches. Altho I wish you got a bit more as a survivor.
  • NoED is fine. Sure, there are some situations where NoED can be a bit frustrating. But that barely happen to me actually. I do face NoED players from time to time. But it doesn't really bother me at all.
  • I don't care about bugs. I find them hilarious.

That's all of them(for now). Do you have any unpopular opinions? I would love to read about them! 😙

    • DS was brought to games by survivors as much as old Ruin was brought to games by killers. You could basically do half a generator with it, get downed and still hit the killer with DS before the change, it was too much for a single perk. Now it is around as strong as BT and Unbreakable, only if the killer makes it strong.
    • The problem with Nurse lies in the rest of the game actually. There is a huuge gap in power between her and any other killer. The problem is that against most good players, a thousand hour Nurse is near unbeatable in some maps. But on the other hand, the best of the best survivors are also near unbeatable by anything other than Nurse, and maybe Spirit. The problem is with the balance of the game more than any specific killer.
    • Bloodwebs problem is that it is outdated. It was okay when the game was smaller and had only a few DLCs, but in its current state I believe it takes 6k-10k hours of playing this game to unlock everything right now. That's way too much and it only gets worse with each update.
    • Noed is an absolutely balanced perk in my opinion, but that doesn't make it a good perk. My example to this is a killer who can press a button and randomly kill 2 survivors and let 2 escape. On paper that is as balanced as a killer can get, but that doesn't make it a good killer. Just like that Noed basically guarantees you a kill at the end of most games, pretty balanced in my eyes but doesn't mean it is a healthy perk for the game.
    • But many people care about bugs, and their game being ruined by them is just unfair.

My only unpopular opinion is about Dead Hard apparently, I don't see it as a fair perk since a killer can do the mindgame of the century or a survivor can do a mistake that literally throws the game and it only takes a press of a button to undo it by the survivor. But most people do so I guess I may be wrong about this.

Some of the bugs are definitely hilarious, but some are annoying for both sides like the current pallet stun and spirit fury enduring bug. The bloodweb system is pretty bad imo, just let us pay more bloodpoints to get a specific perk rather than spend 5 million to get one perk. Devs should add more functions for bloodpoints, besides upgrading characters

Aight I might aswell go with mine.

    • Trickster isn't the worst killer in the game. He's low C tier/high D tier to me, definitely beating Pig and Trapper and possibly above Myers.
    • Windows of Opportunity is the best solo perk and is a must due to you not knowing what your team has and hasn't done with the pallets.
    • Spine Chill should be nerfed as it gives off too much information.
    • Noed should be nerfed to change it to it rewards killers for playing well (Something like every hook gain a token, each token gives you a 1% speed boost, at 4 tokens all survivors gain the exposed status effect).
    • Mindbreaker is an amazing perk and is criminally underrated.
    • The weaker killers are more fun while the stronger killers tend to be boring (This doesn't apply to all of them).
    • Jeff is the best survivor no questions asked.
