Why would they make a weak killer on purpose?
Balance team and cosmetic teams do not work in the same time frame

Jeez, give them a few weeks to make adjustments, the killer only came out a few days ago. Not every killer is perfect on release, and they err on the side of a weak killer.

I can get midwich being it's an licensed and they probably only agreed for an slight tweak to ph but thos is original

Kinda true, but not.
The killer was overplayed in the PTB, while most of it was streamed but people sponsored by them like Otz, Tru3, Scott, etc. And they complained for things like the speed being super low and decreasing while trowing knives, or the knives recoil being stupidly bad.

The PTB is mostly for finding bugs, so they can get a head start on bug fixes before the live version is released. They will probably do some QoL changes over the next few weeks, if I had to guess.

That's only because in the last years survs only got trash. But killers continue asking for more nerfs, so they nerf old perks
