DBD VS OUTRIDERS

So completely different games but can you imagine if DBD had passion like them, they constantly post and tweet about the game, updates and everything they're doing hell they even post build creation they have done...

Is it really too much to ask the devs to communicate or even join in with the community and play the game?

If you compare dbd back then to now it is significantly better. I would ask you have you seen some of the anniversary stuff from the past few years they interact with the community back then now they....do something, what that is I don't know. Also outriders and dbd are two different genres of games.

Different genres or not theres no reason to lack communication with your audience. Yes DBD has been around for years, iv been there since the start of it but so many things are always left unanswered or ignored. We have surveys which cover many topics to never be talked about again, early game, estimated wait times the list is endless. Simple updates, stats or acknowledgement would go along way. Trickster... have they even spoke about the issues? Or said they acknowledge the issues? If the people lack the passion get people who do.

Have you ever seen the comment section on the tweets or when they do an update stream on twitch? The amount of crap they get would put anyone off trying to communicate like they used to.

a couple of devs stream on twitch playing the game, and usually happy to answer questions about what they know or are allowed to mention without spoiling any upcoming plans

Think you'll still be playing it in 5 years?

One thing i'll say is that it's weird to see way less dev interaction in the forums now.

I think that's been a thing ever since that coconut guy responded to one, talking about the Pop nerf, saying DS has too much time on it as well.

It's been way more quiet here now aside from the occassional mod here and there.

The guy who posts on the Fall Guys Twitter account is always keeping people updated as to what to expect, where as on DBD's most of the times it's just retweeting fanart and ignoring feedback. The devs for some reason are distancing themselves away from the community, and not even one has been seen here on the forums in a while. I know they might be feeling overworked so I can get that, but at least check in with the forums ever now and then to keep us updated on stuff. Like we're being left out in the dust, and the only information we get these days is by looking at leaks.

Agreed. Honestly the only activity I see on forums is posts being moved from discussion into feedback even if it was meant to discuss with other people lol. Who knows maybe people are affected by covid and its causing strains on the team

I sometimes imagine how DBD would look like if the devs were as passionate as the Deep Rock Galactic devs. This game is sooo good and the devs are doing gods work with each update.
