Freddy Mains- What is the best combination of perks for "Forever Freddy"?
My Freddy build currently is BBQ & Chili, Sloppy Butcher, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Corrupt Intervention. I'm thinking of replacing Corrupt Intervention with Thanatophobia. Would that be a strong "Forever Freddy" build or is there a better combination of perks? I've also considered replacing Sloppy Butcher with dying light but I think the synergy between sloppy butcher and thanatophobia would be better than the synergy between dying light and thanatophobia. I'm also not a big fan of ruin and undying since the undying nerf, so I think just running pop would be the better option.

Forever Freddy isn’t even his strongest build imo the only reason worth running it is when you’re fed up of toxic survivors and want to harvest some salt.
To that effect throw on as many perks that give the survivors icons as possible. Swing chains + jump rope + dying light + thana + sloppy + you could try Ruin, it goes quick but it annoys survivors.
Again its not his best build but nothing beats that feeling when you get the early hit, the survivor sees about 20 slowdown icons appear on screen and they just stop running and give up

Don’t do it...

Use tinkerer and pay to win Freddy is 4k 100% of times against solos

Interesting so what would you consider his strongest build then?

Honestly I think that’s the best forever Freddy build already.
Sloppy I dump for Brutal Strength most of the time though, makes his chase even stronger. You could potentially just toss standalone Ruin or Tinkerer in there too but I think the core of corrupt pop BBQ is too good to give up.

Freddy main here. If I want to play Forever Freddy, I will run something like this:
But this is just a suggestion, Freddy is a versatile killer so feel free use any perk you want :)

Other than forever Freddy, I will say that him running tinkerer with ruin makes the match unbearable. If you don't care about winning and just want to make the survivors suffer, run ruin, undying and tinkerer and just keep teleporting to gens and never commit to any chase. Also keep an eye on your totems.

I was hoping you would comment on this you seem to be the most active Freddy main on these forums. It’s nice to see one of your builds! What other Freddy builds do you run when you aren’t going for the forever Freddy build?

Thank you! I try my best to be the nicest Freddy main DBD has ever known :)
As for build, well... it is a tricky question. My "standard" build basically consists of: Corrupt Intervention, Hex: Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Barbecue & Chilli.
If I am going for Dream Pallets instead of Snares, then I will probably run Enduring or Brutal Strength instead of Ruin. And, if I feel like it, I might run something unexpected, like Hex: Haunted Ground or Lightborn.
P.S: Things were a little bit different with Old Freddy. I dare say I had more diverse builds back then, with perks such as Coulrophobia and the NOED + Blood Warden combo.

Why would you run an ebony on that build? That's less stacks of dying light.

Really tips to playing Freddy?
ls the level the forum posts have fallen to?
Your build is already good enough to roll over solos with probably 4 gens remaining
equip Tinkerer and make it 5
Apologies if this response sounds rude but any build is going to do well with Freddy.

Not a Freddy main but eh, this thread sounds fun to contribute to.
Dying Light and Thanato (duh), Pop, and Sloppy. Gives as much slowdown as possible. Addons are Swing Chains and Jump Rope (obviously lol), and you got yourself Forever Freddy.
If you want more gen regression than healing slowdown you can replace Sloppy with Surge. If you want better tracking you can replace Sloppy with Surveillance.
