People who play without spine chill. How is it working out for you?

When it's obvious you're lying about stealth killers coming from out of nowhere with all the LOS blockers on almost every map. :')

Works fine for me. I have no issues sweeping around the camera and using the perk known as the "Mark 1 Eyeballl" to spot killers.
Well, that and I play with headphones, so some of them I hear coming.

I might get exposed once in a while by ghostface without spotting him. As for grabs they almost never happen. You can hear every single killer when they approach. Normally if I use spine chill, it's for resilience/spine chill vault build and I usually forget that spine chill is also a detection perk besides giving you vault speed or increased chances for autodidact skillchecks

Tbh, the bad players with dead hard aren't the ones I care about; it's the good players with it. They can be hell to chase.

You cant greed injured on some gens as much. Nothing else to it really.

Ahhh yes. You've had a different experience in a game based on RNG. So I must be lying.
Slow your role, bucko.

900 hour red rank survivor main and i never take spine chill off since day 1. my friends made me get used to it when I started and I'd rather take out any perk than spine chill tbh.

spinechill is only good agaisnt stealth killers and then spirit. and still most likely other perks would of serve better.

Forget spine chill..I am confused to how people play without bond (alert is better than spine chill)

Depends on the map but i usually do fine without spinechill.
All stealth killers have audible queues that when you pay attention to it you can avoid the gen grab even without having good line of sight.
The only time i got grabbed of a gen recently was against a Legion with tinkerer because that killer just has zero sound queues on everything they do outside of frenzy.
Spine chill is still handy ofcourse because of the extra distance you can make with your head start but it really isn't a nececity

You do not have a 360 degree rotatable camera.
I wish we did. But apparently mouse free look is too advanced a technology for BHVR.
Instead we have to do this weird reverse W into S while spinning garbage.

What's up with you being passive-aggressive so much? I've read your other posts and you're almost always like this. OP just wants to learn from others that play without Spine Chill (Sorry you had to deal with them OP).
Anyways, I usually just look around while I'm doing a generator or something. I think Spine Chill is a really good perk but I don't use it because I usually forget I have it, and I got used to not running it, I guess.

Thank you for being kind.
I don't know why he was coming at me even though I just asked a question.

No worries! You didn't deserve them coming at you like that.

You’ve got issues buddy.

Doesn't hurt that the grabbing animation is bugged these days either...

I use Spine Chill but my main issue is that I play at night time when my son and wife are sleeping. Game is already loud enough without me turning up louder. So I do appreciate the visual cue that they are near.
I also hate stealth killers so for me and again cant turn the volume up with risk of waking up family. I'm not that invested to get headphones as well

Don't worry, he's just a killer main that wants to pretend he plays enough survivor to understand the perspective of the other side, so that balanced aspects of the game get nerfed in favour of killers.
Meanwhile those of us who play both sides aplenty will continue with our day and actually care about the health of the game for everyone, and not just one side.

I used to run it and treat it like its mandatory, but then I needed to get out my comfort zone and not actually rely on perks like that. So my current survivor build is boil over, power struggle, flip-flop, and unbreakable.

I often run it not just for stealth killers but also to give a head start. Working on a gen that you cant finish before the killer arrives, often I find it better to leave early to prolong the chase and give my team mates time to unhook/finish gens before I go down against some of the killers with more deadly chase potential. Deathslinger for example, with low mobility and a limited range can have a real hard time against survivors with a head start, especially as if you wait until he arrives to start the chase, he can end it very very quickly.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a Ghost Face. Or something like that. I never was good with movie lines. A DS per match keeps the tunnelers off your ass. Life's like a match with the Entity. You always see what you're gonna get. That doesn't seem right, either. Ill get it right one day. For now, I never use Spine Chill. Only thing allowed to grab me is Myers with his big strong arms and his loud breathing. Sorry, Spirit- it's you, not me.

I'm seeing a several people say Ghost Face has stealth sounds you can hear. Does anyone have a video example they could drop for me? I've never heard any kind of sounds from him before and he's honestly the main reason I run Spine Chill nowadays.

i feel fine unless im versing a ghostface or a pig, then i just want to kill myself for not bringing spine chill
