Wraith lore and design

Is it just me or the waith design does not seem very consistent with his lore? I mean, as far as we know he probably came from Africa, much of his appearance and his add ons reflect that, and don't get me wrong, I love his looks, but I always think of how much he seens odd for his realm and everything seems very random. When we talk about someone like Herman Carter for exemple everything seems to fit very well: we have a doctor (probably some kind of psychiatrist) in a secret research institute that uses electroshocks to drive their victims insane. In the case of the wraith, its an African immigrant who worked with some kind of car junkyard headed by a psychopath, and his power is the ability to become invisible through a weird bell. Its just not the kind of creature that seens to haunt that place. Will one day we will have more details that connect things with more sense? I'd love to see the older killers with more detailed lores like that of the clown or spirit :D

I don't think all of the killers powers fit their lore, and it is fine that way.

You must consider Wraith is one of the first killers, so his lore is very vague and rough. His appearance and power imo are not tied to the lore, it's simply how the Entity chose him to be as a killer after it took him into its realm.

You could easily say the same about Evan, the Trapper.
His story has him blowing up a mineshaft and starving his father, yet he's walking around using bear traps.

So yes. They need more detailed backstories (I remember them being so highly detailed, though not power accurate, on the wiki, but they changed it to the horrible vagueness it is now).

Also, seriously. SOMEONE GET MICHAEL A BETTER BACKSTORY!!!!! IT DOESN'T EVEN MENTION HOW HE GOT TO THE FOG (if anything, it a before the movie summary, while Laurie's is in the middle of the movie)

I kinda see where your coming from as well, his clothes do resemble somewhat of Africa. I guess we'll never know

I think they should add more lore into the first 3 killer's backstory, I felt that they deserve more of a detailed story now that we are over 2 years into the Dead by Daylight world

Wraith backstory Sucks. He killed people unknowingly and he killed his boss, who ultimately deserved it. Suddenly the Entity sees potential in Wraith after one intentional kill??

In the next tome there should be more lore about the Wraith.

There's hints in the cosmetics lore that he was a shaman or something (not too wellversed in african cultures and mythology) and that the entity snatched him when he was doing... something?
