Why do survivors complain about NOED on Trickster?

Seriously he's the weakest killer they've ever put out, you have plenty of time to do bones. Stop being lazy!

Haven't seen a single complaint about that specifically.

    Interesting

  • Take NOED on Trickster and wait for the endgame salt lol

I haven't had that complaint (I don't use it on him though) on either side of the field. I have had Survivors get salty at me for goofing off in Trickster matches though that turn into 4K or 3Ks though. Whoops.

Yeah, Trickster ABSOLUTELY needs NOED. There's no counterargument to that, heh.

All these comments about the trickster 'needing' noed are weird. NOED is a bad perk. Running it on trickster makes him weaker.

Survivor frustration with NOED isn't because it's an OP perk, it's just super frustrating to go against.

I do, and have cross play off when I play trickster. I don't really get salt though when I play him, just glitter and gold

I don't even understand how people can complain when playing against trickster at all.

Even if he was using pre-nerf mories, he is just so laughably weak that winning wouldn't be too hard in any case.

    Habit, I'm guessing.

Because they hate NOED. Even if everyone is killed before the gens are done, you'll get complaints if your build included NOED, despite the fact that you beat them without it ever being a factor, and 1 perk slot down.

NOED is annoying to play against, that's it. Nothing to do with Trickster, the perk isn't overpowered or broken or whatever, it's just annoying when it procs. Breakout is an annoying perk to play against but is it overpowered? Of course not.

I wasn't around when Ghostface was on the PTB. Was he really that bad?

  • Most people just don't like playing against NOED in general, its why they unreasonably will point it out even if its never used, I've ran full endgame builds where people have taken issue with NOED like what am I gonna pick coup de grace? I can kind of see why people don't like it though, the fact is nobody likes seeing a win snatched away from them late in the game in any kind of game its a weird comparison but in FIFA if there's a goal in the 90th minute against you I don't think you will be happy. Its why I am kinda torn on idea that reworking the whole perk unto something completely new wont be that bad VS that it already has a niche and its clearly not that strong because it doesn't encourage healthy play.

NOED is fun. It gives game more time. New challange in end game for both sides. I love put NOED and i love play against NOED.

Yes, he was. He could be instantly revealed by survivors (1 second) and he emitted a global sound warning every time he activated his power.

Survivors complain about any inconvenience to them. They're all petty and entitled brats.

My gosh. So much for being a stealth killer. Glad they fixed that and he’s a pretty solid killer now.

Thankfully. Imagine if he hadn't been fixed...easily the worst killer in the game.

Right. Noed is a bad perk if you are going for kills, or pips, or . . .anything, honestly. The only thing Noed does is make you play with 3 perks for most the game, then get 1 kill at the end while everyone else leaves (if the survivors play smartly).

There's a reason you only see noed on killers who play poorly. It's a perk that looks good to players with poor game sense.

NOED is the survivors fault for missing totems, trickster in of itself is just annoying to play against. plain and simple

Because it's the only way he can get a kill. Finally almost 115% movement speed and can catch people looping him around a rock lol

Survivors complain about everything. Not just NOED, and not just on Trickster.

They can bring whatever they want and nobody says anything. Killer does the same? Scummy.

Map offerings, keys, friends, flashlights, med kits, DS, BT, DH, Claudette, IW, Neon Outfits, Twitch Names, Unbreakable, Adrenaline, Sabotage, Body Blocking, Instant Heals, BNPs, MoM, gen rushing, breaking totems, not breaking totems, hiding, looping, greeding pallets, 99% gates, waiting at gates, teabagging, nodding, pointing, farming, OoO, SB, Prove Thyself, SC, UE, not being scared, and I'm sure there is A LOT more stuff the killers cry about as well that I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

    Both sides complain.

NOED tends to feel cheap to a lot of people (I'm a killer main for reference). Personally I'd like to see it reworked so that you get one token on it per unique hook, and each token is consumed for an instadown. It'd work the same if people put in a bit of effort and feel less like 'lulz free winz.' (even if that's not the case) for those that have issue with it.

DBD players will complain about literally anything that doesn't go their way

  • JimbusCrimbus
    JimbusCrimbus Member Posts: 1,116

The difference here is - while both sides COMPLAIN, I rarely ever see a killer literally gatekeep and tell me how to play the game. Tell me to stop doing something etc. I've never played survivor and had a killer come to my chat when I stream to tell me to kill myself for not playing how they wanted.

Survivors? Constant gatekeeping, CONSTANT telling me how to play as if it's some sort of gospel and I get told to drink bleach MULTIPLE times in just a couple of hours of playing.

    So no, they don't compare.

Only time I complained about a Trickster running NOED was the one that was also facecamping and tunnelling, despite my best efforts to lure him to a chase.

Regardless of Trickster though, NOED is just terrible design and likely to piss people off. Just because the Trickster isn't good, the perk isn't suddenly fun or okay to play against.

its always annoying no matter what killer it is. playing really good and expecting all of that hard work to pay off just to get struck by noed and camped on hook feels like a robbery. before calling them crybabies, try to understand their perspective first
