Trickster was made too early and we need to use fresher ideas first so we can think about these kill
After nurse, because the original 5 charecters of each side are not based on the timeline, dbd has went from the bcs to the 1800s, then an entity related killer, and finally back to 1700s with twins with most killers in the game. We are taking a huge step making a killer for the now so early. It leaves out room for a more interesting killer power or fun gameplay, as tricksters power is eudimentary and has high inefficiency of use + low base kit. For original killers, mqybe we could go back to romans to finish off fresh ideas before killers become reskinned like trickster and huntress are similar?

Nobody cares about some imaginary timeline that you think exists. The devs have never said anything about this. They can make more modern killers if they want.

Timeline? There's no timeline, we have a Killer from ancient times to more modern killers like Trickster, and a bunch in between. Just because Trickster is from recent times doesn't mean we won't see killers from much older eras.

Then, huntress is a little bit later to somewhere around the 1900s. Then we go to 2000s a bit with people like legion, and then we switch off between the timelines, ending with 1700s france with twins. Trickster could have been better, now hes just fan service with a weak power and bts cosmetics.

My argument against the Trickster is that there are about 500 other horror genre's they didn't pick ahead of a pop singer. He's quite fun but obviously broken right now. He's been purely designed to draw in Korean fans to the game. Nothing horrific about him tbh.

Ghost face is from “now” as well. For all intents and purposes he is an original killer. Only the mask/look is licensed.
Also, isn’t Legion from around “now”?

How bhvr is, they think about one killer for 3 months and then revealed they worked on the next one for half a,year. This doesnt feel like a good idea because it would intersect planning. Also, bhvr does need more time to think about theirckillers, and sometime in the near future we need a health patch.

And I'm not sure why you think they can only have one Killer per "timeline".
Also, while the MASK for Ghostface is licensed, the character behind the mask was created by BHVR.

You're claiming that the Trickster is 'an altered version of Huntress'-- Which I can somewhat agree with. His power is more like Plague's.
But you made a post about the 'timeline' of DbD, (which has never been set up. You forget the Legion are from the 90's, and Plague, the oldest killer, came out after them) His lore is completely fine, and him being from the modern era is completely fine. The Trapper is likely from the 1800's, and the Wraith is from a point where junkyards existed, and the machines to crush cars. So, Wraith is also probably from the modern era, or at least somewhat modern.
This timeline has never existed.

Clown is from somewhere between ~1980 and ~2005. His add on VHS Porn is my evidence, and this is roughly the time in which VHSs were the popular.
Trapper is probably from the early 1900's. His lore deals with the miners wanting to unionize.
Hillbilly is relatively modern, chainsaw.
Wraith is probably also modern ~80's or 90's, we could trace his age by figuring out what war he saw as a kid.
Legion are 80's or 90's
Huntress was around one of the World Wars, I don't care enough to figure out which one.
Plague is Babylonian, so shes ancient.

No, he isn't. Danny "Jed Olsen" Johnson is a completely original character created by BHVR, for BHVR. Only his costume, in particular the 'Ghost Face' mask, is licensed but lore-wise he's completely original.

They arent gonna feel undone lmao there are literally countless ideas they can do, and the timeline a killer comes from has nothing to do with balancing either, and judging by your other post talking about wraith and trickster it doesnt seem like you grasp balancing the best either. The time a killer comes from is the lore based, and them doing a modern killer doesnt change anything about the game or what killers they have planned. They had the twins planned out while the game was in beta, that's how far ahead they have killers planned
