Also, removing it would make mind games unnecessary, and I don't know about you but learning how to mindgame loops and pulling them off is one of the things that makes this game fun.

I dont get why Killers want the red stain to be removed. They can mindgame with it. Like, they want to keep things like J-Flicks, because they "add depths to Killers", but hiding the Red Stain is not "depth" at all apparently.
Obviously Bloodlust should go, it is an outdated mechanic. As Killer, I would like the Red Stain to stay, since it is a tool for mindgames. As Survivor, I dont mind if it is there or not.

This patch literally just had a huge survivor nerf, and two killer buffs.

Btw, if bloodlust gets removed, there should be something done with shift+w gaming.
If somebody doesn't think it's a problem, try to chase survivor on maps like midwich where you just follow their scratchmarks, but can't trigger a chase.

I think Red Stain is
A) A great band name
B) A good trade off considering that Killers get scratch marks. Killers can track movement from a distance so long as they are keen enough to see it, and narrow down location from there. Survivors only get to know where the Killer is when they are close by, letting them know what the Killer currently sees. It's basically an inverted version of the scratch marks. Killers can play around with their Red Stain to mindgame Survivors, and Survivors CAN use their scratch marks to throw off the Killer. It's a great balance, each with their trade offs. I see no issue in it.
As for Bloodlust, I wouldn't mind seeing ranks 2 and 3 go, but I think rank 1 should stick around. I don't think we will see some of the weaker Killers ever really get buffed the way many people would like, and they benefit greatly from Bloodlust 1. Many lower tier Killers would basically fall off entirely without Bloodlust, because their powers don't really make up for the loss in speed they would suffer during chase. Yes, they could be reworked to the point where Bloodlust doesn't need to be a thing anymore, but I just don't see that kind of thing happening.

I can only imagine that Bloodlust must be at the bottom of a massive "If/then" tree in the code in order to cause that much of an issue. I don't know for sure what causes that slowdown, but it SOUNDS like the App is running down a massive list which freezes it up.

It's one less advantage to a side that is already weaker than the other. So if it happens, something from the other side also needs to go. Not necessarily red stain. It could simply be less safe pallets and loops with a HUGE f-ing wall in the middle that survivors can abuse (Haddonfield).

I would never notice if bloodlust get removed. If it activates and you're not having a hit or pallet break within the next 5 seconds you're doing something wrong.
But hey they might rework Beast Of Prey to hide your red stain so you might get your wish kinda.

for the rest, a vast majority of killer mindgames are you USING your red stain to make it look like you are going in one direction when in reality you are not. you make Survivors predict your next move based on the red light shining around the corner, while you yourself predict their prediction and act accordingly.
this is also effective when you want to make survivors panic vault something right into you at unsafe structures.
so no, you are not making it easier to mindgame. you are, in fact, reducing the overall amount of mindgames possible, so you make it easier for Survivors to predict your next move.

What blaring out our headphones making the loops in general fairer (some are still infinites) limiting killer pov and giving survivors perks like dead hard isnt enough advantages? Not saying it needs removed but id say survivors have plenty advantages lol.

Chase music is necessary otherwise tracking would be way easier

limited FOV is there so the survivors can do something besides run around pallet or window.
Dead hard and any other exhaustion perk is using a perk slot for an improved chase just like spirit fury, enduring or bamboozle

The storehouse is insanely strong.You can very easily chain those 2 windows and there aren't a lot of killers that can deal with that loop and now it got a pallet inside on top of that.

Well,double pallets usually are an indicator that the map spawned the minimum amount of pallets.
You'll then see a lot more deadzones and T L walls

So the balance should be killer against soloQ and the killer can suck it up against the 5% of 4men and the unknown amount of 2/3men groups having the advantage of coms, coordination and reassurance of reliable teammates, great.
It's still abetter solution to elevate solo to swf and adjust killer accordingly but whatever.

Bloodlust 2 and 3 aren't the issues with bloodlust, bloodlust 1 is because of how quickly you get it. If you wanna keep bloodlust, tier 1 should kick in at the same time tier 2 does now, or somewhere in between, and survivors should get an effect or visual cue for when bloodlust triggers, like the killer suddenly gets a red effect that shines on them for a second.

Maybe, though I almost think it depends on the Killer. Killers with few chase options are honestly better served getting it sooner, while other Killers aren't. I mean, it would be BEST if every Killer had their own pre-requisite time for BL1, based on their kit, power, and expected threshold. I don't think that is going to happen, as it would require every Killer getting a deep-dive into their strengths and weaknesses to determine a good timer. If a blanket method is used, like it is now, it's probably going to be aimed to favor weaker Killers, but perhaps unfairly benefit stronger Killers as a result. If it's changed to favor the more mid-range Killers, lower tier Killers that suffer in chase are going to become that much harder to use in chase.
It's a tight-rope act, really.

As a killer I want bloodlust removed. I'm on ps4, bloodlust triggers fps drops anytime it kicks in causing me to miss hits or lose survivors in a chase. That weekend without bloodlust was amazing for me and many other console killers that get screwed over by the bloodlust fps drops.

who said bloodlust needs to be removed? i have never seen a post complaining about bloodlust. it isnt even that efficient cuz a survivor can just abuse a good loop and force you to break it which means you lose it
