so as you all know basic gen regression is really slow. taking 320 seconds for a 99.9% gen to regress to 0% also a survivor can stop gen regression simply by tapping the gen in half of a seconds which is a bit iffy so here are my ideas to make regression decent whilst not being oppressive in the end game.

survivors must repair a generator for 2 seconds to stop the regression if they let go before that the gen will resume its regression. (it takes 2 seconds for a killer to kick a gen to make it regress so 2 seconds to stop the regression seems fair)

at the start of a trial gens regress 100% faster 160 seconds for a 99.9% gen to reach 0% (the same as ruin) for every gen completed gen regression will be reduced by 25% percent

  • 160 seconds to fully regress at 5 gens
  • 200 seconds to fully regress at 4 gens
  • 240 seconds to fully regress at 3 gens
  • 280 seconds to fully regress at 2 gens
  • 320 seconds to fully regress at 1 gen

this way killers will be able to defend multiple gens at the beginning of a trail much easier but it wont make the 3 gen any harder for the survivors.

so with changes like this ruin would also have to be adjusted to fit this.

as long as ruin exists generators will regress automatically and for every generator completed gens will regress an additional 15/20/25% faster (this way ruin dose not change)
