Licensed Content

I know this post has been done multiple times, but what are some licensed content you would like to see in the game? Not just killers, but licensed survivors and/or maps as well. So say just an iconic map from a movie or game as a stand-alone DLC content.

Personally, I would love to see a Suspiria themed DLC with maybe even the upcoming remake as the DLC if its good. You would have Suzy as the survivor with part of the dance school as the map and possibly even one of the witches as the killer. I think it would be an interesting concept that would fit in well with the game. Also I would love to see Sally finally join DBD even though she wasn't released alongside Leatherface.

So what/who do you guys thing should be apart of the game?

For a Survivor I'd honestly like to see Sally from the OG Texas Chainsaw Massacre as a Survivor.

    Killer wise.

Well that's a bit tough. The Candy Man would be a good fit.

I was honestly so disappointed when they didn't add Sally alongside Leatherface. For a slasher game, there is a lack of licensed final girls. The only one we have is Laurie but we also could've had Nancy regardless of whether it was the reboot version or not and of course Sally with Leatherface. Hopefully they eventually add her and the OG Nancy and also other iconic final girls.

I could see Sally ending up with some tanky perks easily.

She took a pretty decent amount of damage during her escape from Leatherface and his clan.

    Sally for Leatherface
Hunter, Smoker, or Witch for Bill.

Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2 would be good as a killer and Tiny Tina. She could be like Clown only she'd throw Dynamite which would slow you down unless she hit you point blank and it'd stun you.

Her Mori would be how she killed the person that killed her family. Stacks dynamite around them and jumps on the plunger.

For survivor Brick or Torque would be funny and i know it'd never happen but Mad Moxxi as a survivor lol.

I would say a three way tie between a L4D2 killer (Hunter or Smoker), Friday the 13th (Jason), and Five Nights at Freddy's (Springtrap). I know that last one is kinda controversial but there's just something fun about being chased down by a robot.

Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley from Alien. Maybe the ability to swipe over pallets/windows with it's tail?

That would be an interesting one since we dont have any sci-fi themed killers. I don't know how well it would fit in the game but I would love for at least Ellen Ripley to come to the game as a stand-alone survivor.

100% this. The Tall Man doesn't get enough love. Phantasm and its sequels are some great slasher style horror flicks.

@Mringasa Most definitely. I'm 45, and grew-up on them with my Dad. We were a huge horror family, and he did some special effects work when I was very young. My 18-year-old daughter has been doing make-up since she was 13, and moldings and latex work since 16. She's prepping to attend the Tom Savini School next year.

I remember as a kid, my Dad would close the bathroom door like he was in there, and hide behind my bedroom door when it was bedtime. As I walked in, he would slam the door and do the "Boooooy!" just like the Tall-Man. Would scare the crap out of me every time, but fond memories. If not for him, I probably would never have become an author, never mind work in the horror genre.

So, Phantasm holds a special place in my heart, too. Gimme the Tall Man and Reggie!

I would love to get a hold of Don one day and license Phantasm for a couple of original novels, now that the movie series is over. RIP Angus Scrimm. :(

Phantasm: Ravager did leave the story open, though . . . .
