Remove huntress, stop releasing chapters and work on the game!
Remove huntress and deathslinger until you guys finally fix the desync its impossible to juke a huntress when he hatches miss you on your screen by meters but they hit you somehow. its every time against every single huntress im playing with 40ms and i dont know what makes the desync so large but its annoying as hell! IM just gonna take a break until they fix the desync now is everyone experiencing this? the desync was better when we had peer to peer servers. the game isnt made for servers and therefore shouldnt be moved to dedicated servers! Im not sure why everyone is ignoring i see it happening everytime on youtube, twitch, myself and friends. everyone has desync against M1 killers it doesnt really matter that much since if you spin him it would probably have been a hit anyways so i dont really mind tkaing a M1 but when the hatchet breaks in the air and you take a hit its just making me so pissed... someitmes you get hit through corners, walls and etc... I do understand that this ruins it for huntress a little too since her axes break when they shouldnt on obstacles but why do they release a new chapter instead of doing something to try and fix desync now i dont mind a little desync since you cant get rid of it all but when you get hit by a huntress on the location you were 2 seconds ago it pisses me off since you cant do anything about it!
'psst - i know how desync works dont explain it to me in the comments thinking i dont know what it means!, i always look if my ping is good before i click on ready and etc. so dont tell me anything about that

I get I frustrated too. And yeah, I’ve posted some epic rants.
But this post is totally unreasonable.
Just cool your head. For your sake (and this is genuine concern) I hope in a day or two you don’t find yourself deeply embarrassed for posting this.

The hit validation/desync is terrible in this game.
Other games are a million times faster paced and still the hit validation and desync feel much better and are barely noticeable.

The desync was better on P2P but it was far from perfect. Exhausted on the ground and Huntress throwing semis at you were still very real and happened often, just not as often as they do now. It's something you have to deal with I'm afraid, it's not gonna get better in the foreseeable future. They're gonna be taking their sweet time to fix other things before they work on things like Huntress hatchets and Nurse desync.

it still applies its not fun to play with 43 ms and get hit around a corner when you passed it 2 sec ago almost every single huntress main its not fun to play against vpn kilelrs or whatever they are doing since its only ranged killers that with such a coincidence hit sec after u round corners

no but i dodged every single hatch got hit with a iri after opening exit gate got hook camped only hatchet she hit was that one then you cant do anything since iri isnt a priority on their list (i know that tomorrow they will reduce her hatchets to 1)

But, it's pretty damn clear that you DON'T know what it means.

desync appears in every single game its hard to fix but working on servers etc. can reduce desynd A LOT. desync happens because a game requires data if it gets the data sooner than expected it will still go through but a desync will appear since it a delay on the packet. now hits in dbd is client sided which means that the client decides now this is a hit. then the computer send over the file to the server "this is a hit". when the server recieves that hit it sends it to my computer. my game gets the update knowing ooh wow that was a hit. reduces one health state. now im not sure what is server and client sided but i KNOW that hits are CLIENT SIDED to reduce it simply make hits server sided. now its not really simply. server sided hits would still cause desync but less desync it would favour good internet over bad would make a VPN killer wanna cancel that subscription. i'd rather have a game favour someone with 10ms rather than someone with 110ms.
PROS AND CONS WITH SERVER / CLIENT SIDED
Cons are that if you order your characther to walk
now when i make a game on python when im bored i usually run this line

that makes the makes it walk. now when you have walking client sided you dont have to wait for your pc to send a line to teh server that says you are pressing the charachter then have to wait for the delay (which appears since the server cant send files that fast) and you will have a desync. a desync will always appear. you cannot do anything about desync the only real solution to desync is letting players with the lowest ping possible play with eachother at the closest server. so in LAN for an example where everyone can have 0ping there is almost no desync at all since the transfer of data is quite quick. now as i said by moving and making hits server sided the desync problem wouldnt be as bad as it it in this current state. now when both player and killer has a decent ping the ping time from your client to the server can be like 50ms and then 50ms to you which means that the desync would be around 100ms (not sure if its true but seems resonable :D) when you have 200ms it takes 200ms for you to send the packets to the server which later takes 200ms to send it to you...
now once again do you think i know what desync is?

yea ik but htey can make htis server sided reducing the desync even more isntead of waiting for the killer to send the hit to the server than to you you can make hits server sided so the client asks the server if it was a hit then the server checks with you if it was a hit then sends it back

That's a latency issue that affects all killers though, not just huntress or slinger.
They can do certain fixes to try and help but if someone's playing on McDonald's WiFi then there's only so much they can do lol.

You know it works both ways right? For every BS hit a hatchet hits you; one phases through you or hits an invisible wall.

I will say huntress players are so toxic. I thought camping bubba was the meta. So I was told when my friends got me into this game.
Camping huntress.... happens almost every game. It's like they get personally offended with YOU when they cant land a hatchet.

so you have 40 ms, the killer has 190ms. that means you communicate 4 times as fast with the server than the killer (more actually) but more accurately it takes 115ms for your actions to translate to the killer, and then another 115 ms back to you so what you are seeing as a dsync is acually just the information finally reaching your computer of what happened. this is the same issue that you had with dead hard leaving you exhausted on the ground from it's use but still getting downed.
funny thing is the devs have TALKED about the huntress' hatchets and you are totally not even listening to them. they are using beach ball sized hit boxes around the hatchet and the collision zone of the hatchet to see if it hits an object in the world is much smaller the beach ball hit box for determining player hits can GO THROUGH WALLS and still hit you. PLUS with that you don't know when the game exactly determined when you were hit. so you may have an idea about dsync, buy you are not grasping all that is happening what so ever. dsync is actually much easier to spot when it is very egregious or when the hit box is extremely small, case in point deathslinger. you just don't like what has happened so you rant and everyone laughs and later you feel bad for what you said when you realize you did not account for all the information.
