I'm sick of being nice, give me an evil build
8 games in a row now, I've been tunneled straight off the hook for all 3 hook states till death. Slugged for 2 min in between despite me not having DS and most games not even having an obsession.
I've been trying to be nice and "not toxic" according to killers. Just running Bond, Kindred, WGLF, and We'll Make It. No items or offerings because I feel like they'd be wasted. But I guess I still get singled out for who knows what.
Give me the most toxic build you can think off. I'm sick of being nice just to get treated like dogshit.

Keep your build. Just use Haddonfield-Offerings.

Dead hard is pretty evil, imo. Playing vs. four dead hard users is just misery.
1 -
Not gonna happen. I'm not going to hinder myself further.

Is it really? I love baiting people to DH and hitting them anyway. It feels like a wasted perk.
3 -
BL on haddonfield is dirty
1 -
Dead Hard, DS, Unbreakable, Borrowed Time (up to you i guess depending on how often you see teammates get camped and tunneled as well, if not i think Iron Will is a good choice) and on top of it load a medkit of your choice with a Styptic and Gel Dressings and a Coldwind Offering

I miss those days.

Really? They were literal infinites

I think that using Object of Obsession would be really pissing the killers off. It is a deadaway perk againts Trapper,Hag,Ghostface,Myers and any killer that requires stealth and suprise attacks. If you really wanna piss killers use OOO .
0 -
Exactly. They WERE. Before the nerf.
0 -
I've tried that. It just tends to get me killed faster.
0 -
The nerf was necessary to be fair and BL is still great but yeah it was pretty fun abusing haddonfun
2 -
DS, Unbreakable, iron will, Dead Heart
Object, DS, Sprint Burst, fixated
Haddonfield offering or springwood.
but i would not recommend to change ur way of thinking bc we need to make DBD a good and not toxic place i mean it is but we need to make it a better place than it is rn.. the killers you went against are the bad one not the one you find in other matches.

The only way is to join a sweaty SWF and bring loads of flashlights
1 -
Oh I agree. It was very much so needed.

thats what I use lmao

Since DS was nerfed, I don't see any survivor build that has the potential to be 'evil' anymore right now. Unless we're talking about keys. You can pretty much run the full meta simply for game health and QoL purposes, which sounds like what you're looking for.. That would be the usual suspects, i.e. exhaustion alongside DS, UB and either BT, Deliverance or Adren. You can throw in a medkit. If they call you out for stacking second chances/crutches, then they're simply living in the pre-4.6 patch LaLa land.

Honestly the thing that pisses me off the most is stealthy survivors, those that avoid me at all cost and are hardly seen during the game.
I'd say if u want to piss someone off, go for sprint burst, urban evasion, iron will and spine chill, and never even meet the killer

Decent players don't use it to make you miss hits. Decent players use it to get to pallets and windows for free and extend loops. It's a simple matter to bait it out in a dead zone; just hug the survivor's back until they use it. Trivial.
It's a different matter entirely when you're playing vs. a good survivor, you finally get them to make a mistake and they dead hard to the next vault. Multiply that by four and you have a recipe for a real unfun time.

For sure.
Dead Hard "for distance" is one of the only things in the game without a counter (barring exhaustion add-ons, which are all on "the block.").
1 -
I mean....if you are actually being tunneled then use DS it will still work....
If you hate being slugged use one of the many anti slug perks....
Like you are running with no defense at all but just altruistic; and then getting mad you die quickly with no defense. Like you don't even have an exhaustion perk.
Also, my build is almost the same as yours when I solo queue and I've had like, no issues:

On topic, I just use
Second Wind//WMI/Lithe/BT(or Kindred)
I don't use items or anything - Usually safety or single pip in Red Ranks pretty easily with this build as Second Wind + WMI is a surprisingly good engine.
If you aim for 2 gens/2 unhooks/2 heals/2 good chases, you'll pip!
Good luck :3

Perks: Spine Chill, Resilience, Dead Hard, and Built to Last.
Item and Add-ons: Engineer's Toolbox with a Brand New Part and Wire Spool.
Offering: A map offering of your choice (preferably Strode Realty Key for Haddonfield) or just none at all
Spine Chill for info and extra vault speed along with Resilience which not only gives vault speed but faster gen repair time when injured. Dead Hard to handle being injured, Engineer's Toolbox for super repair speeds along with BNP and Wire Spool, and Built to Last as the cherry on top to compliment that toolbox.
Honestly you can just use DH and BtL and switch out the other two with whatever you'd like.

Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, Borrowed Time, Kindred/Prove Thyself
The first 3 are the big ones. Adrenaline will heal you at end-game. Just think about being in a chase injured, and then Adrenaline pops and you get healed and sprint off from the killer, basically a big F you to them.
Sprint burst is just hated by a lot of killer mains as it gives you a shroud of safety.
Borrowed Time to make it harder for the killer if they do want to tunnel off hook.
Kindred is just good overall for knowledge. Prove Thyself to pump out gens.
Also bring insta med kits or toolboxes with broken parts.
GL!

Built to Last is surprisingly funzo.
1 -
It really is! It's one of my favorite survivor perks out there, it's really good for toolboxes and med-kits.
1 -
I always use it for those "Deplete X item" challenges.
Guaranteed at least 2 per game :3

SWF
The most evil build of all :P
0 -
Put on object of obsession and sprint burst, and send yourself to midwich.
0 -
Object sprint burst built to last And head on with a flashlight and double batteries with a SWF you will bully the ######### out of killers with this build tbh
0 -
Don't use it to dodge hits. Use it to extend loops or chases from afar.
0 -
Urban evasion, red herring, calm spirit, diversion + blackwater swamp. I don't need to tell you which character to play, right?
1 -
My advice, be the better man. Don't let a bad killer piss you off this much. Bringing an op build is just going to make you more mad when it happens anyways. If a killer wants you dead, you're gonna die.
But if you really want to, you could try the classic small pp build. DH, DS, Unbreakable, and a perk of your choice. Like maybe soul guard.
I also saw you say DH is a waste because u just bait it out. Those people use the perk wrong. Use it to get an extra loop. DH for distance has no counter play.

DS, Unbreakable, adrenaline/BT and an exhaustion perk of your choice (probably balanced landing) with a game offering and a purple medkit with extra charges and healing speed. Have fun.

haddonfield is the reason i don't get why people want old balanced back. Even if they map rework haddonfield i doubt theyll remove most of the falls.

Sprint burst and 3 any other perks.
Sprint burst is exellent perk to prevent tunneling off hook. When I played survivor I always took Sprint burst and I genuinly didn't know why so much people complain about tunneling. There is no tunnelers in my games.
It's simple. When you got unhooked, you can sprint away making killer's only option to go for unhooker. Sprint burst always was the best antitunneling perk, but most survivors rather take dead hard which is situational against good killers.

Dude.....you're a survivor.....
Nothing you run will ever stop the inevitable....you are going to die. You are going to be treated like trash (mostly from fellow survivors) and you are going to queue up again and again to die....and be treated like trash.
Try killer, at least that way you'll just be treated like trash and not die.

Any luck with any of these builds, OP?

Deliverance, DS, Unbreakable, Soul Guard.
0 -
just use it for distance

Just run the standard meta build I say. Plenty of coverage there without any possible blame. Also bring med kits and maybe the purple or iridescent add on.

Since this topic is talking about builds, figured I'd ask you here. @TheClownIsKing
What surv builds you been running lately? I always enjoyed those builds especially with open handed. Mostly asking because of the open handed buff soon and I wanted a good build or two to use. Thanks

I’ve been running Bond, Visionary, and WoO with Open Handed in anticipation for the upcoming buff. I can’t wait for the additional 8m range, and the insane amount of info I’m going to getting at all times.
1 -
Yeah I've been loving windows lately. So helpful knowing what your team has used. Thanks as always my friend!

No probs

haddonfield

Dead Hard, Decisive, Unbreakable, and Soul Guard, don't think it can get more evil than that for a survivor build.
0 -
U need a build focused more on survival. This build is too much altruism. Tunnelers/campers have a hay day with that. I absolutely recommend an exhaustion perk of some kind, my favorite is Lithe but Dead hard and Sprint burst are great too.
I would definitely only bring WGLF or We'll Make It. Both seems a little overkill. When I bring We'll Make It I don't bother with WGLF. Kindred and Bond you can play around with but I recommend switching one out for some kind of self preservation: DS, Unbreakable, Soul Guard, Second Wind etc.
I'm not good at "toxic" builds but I can try to help make a balanced well rounded kit that will hopefully help you against killers who play mean. Also encourage others in pre game lobby to run Borrowed Time, it needs to be encouraged and become normalized to help against camping / tunneling. Also when I don't want to run Kindred I let ppl know in lobby if I am or not bringing it so that others can switch perks accordingly if they want to bring it or not etc etc
