Yea I know this has been mentioned a lot but it is a serious issue.
And to already counter what you're going to say, no i am not going to run DS every game just to not get tunneled, survivors shouldnt need to bring a perk every game to counter something that shouldnt be a problem in the first place.
I didn't use old ds, and i will not use the new one, never agreed with the concept, hardcore tunneling needs to get fixed, it is so abundant at red ranks due to no obsession lobbies.

I understand tunneling at endgame though if they have no other choice, thats when borrowed time comes in clutch haha

The issue here seems to be more that the survivors are letting it work. If someone's getting tunneled, everyone else should be doing gens. Hardcore tunneling is about as effective as facecamping. Which is not a justification for either, merely an observation as to why it happens.
Opportunistic tunneling and camping are different stories, but that's pretty much just how the game goes at this point.
